Hiya, what can I expect when I use exile buddy?

I used to use a buddy program, that was great at a basic level, but it needed many scripts if you wanted to get into any PVE farming that involved your class/skills.

I have basic funds to get decent gear even tho I just started, but would I still need to find my own scripts for certain classes/maps or what exactly will this bot be able to do already? I haven't gotten past lvl 60 yet so I'm not sure what even is the most important to farm.

Basically, you need to manage your gear, passives, masters, vaal side areas, lab, but running through the game with QB, and then farming maps with MB covers the bulk of the work in this game.

People usually go with community plugins for item filters to help manage the loot issues in this game, but if you're only level 60, I recommend finding a cheap build on the poe forums to use exactly, getting enough currency to get all the gear, then you should be good to go with the basics. You will struggle on quest bosses with bad gear/build though, and the combat routine is a "facetank" style, so some content you might have to do by hand if your bot can't handle it automatically and dies too much, as if your gear is decent enough, better tactics can usually mean beating most quest content since it's simple.

I have a basic loot filter, do I need to apply it to the bot somehow?

As long as the bot itself can already fight with the gear I have, that sounds awesome.
