Cruel people, it all dephends on the situation really, if theres ppl in org with lvl 1 char naked dancing spamming /yell Dancing for money or Gif mi mony etc i dont give a f,
but lets say i am far away like in nagrand or something and a guy stands at the repair and asks if he could borrow a few gold to repair id be glad to hand it to him.

As of earlier this week i was pissed because:

I was a DK that has levled from 60-80 with boosting only, so i havent trained skills or anything.
i brought 800g to the DK place and having 10 min CD on HS.

but i still missed 150g for training and i asked this guy if i could borrow 100 to train or else i would have to wait to use Hs back to org just to send cash... and he did not even answer me, just kept looking at me -.-

so i had to wait and use HS back to org, log bank char, send gold then log back in and go train -.-

of course, that's for trade beggers. if i'm standing out in the field and someone asks for a couple of g to repair or something, i'll usually give it out. we've all been stuck in the wild with our hs on cd, it's nice to be nice.

Tbh most the time it's just standard level 1s...which I couldn't give a flying f about.

But as the rest said I would gladly help a guy out if they are leveled and need for repairs...I despise people that say "Can I have some gold I need to buy gear"...It's like fueling a drug habit lol, There has been a few times where generosity has paid off though, Last month I lent these 2 guys 500g each and they promised they'd reimburse with interest..I thought nothing of it, a few weeks ago I found 4k from both of them expressing their thanks and that without my help they may not of got to cap because no one could give them the time of day and help out 2 new guys to the realm )). Being new on a realm is the worst!

On my first day EVER playing the game, when i hit lvl 20 on my Tauren. I was looking at the mount trainer and the mount guy in Blood Hoof village getting prices so i knew how much to save up. Out of nowhere a guy walks up opens trade and gives me 1k gold. I whispered him with a "?". He said no worries, take it. And then told me that someone gave him 1k gold when he needed it to train back when he first started playing and the deal was if he ever saw someone trying to buy the mounts or train to ride them that he'd give them 1k. and so on and so on. So now if i am ever there and i see a toon about to go buy his first mounts in that village i give him 1k and tell him to remember what i did when he is level capped and has some spare gold, and to share the love. My next favorite thing to do is fly around to all the pet vendors everywhere and buy bunch of cheap ass pets and jut stand in org. Giving them away to whoever pst's me with the (Can i please have one, or may i please have one?) it makes me chuckle when you make even the biggest troll on your server say Please and Thank you. If it's someone i know and i like em, i don't hesitate to go to the AH and buy them a slightly better pet like a Razormaw Hatchling or something like that. EVERYONE loves free pets. SHARE THE LOVE PEOPLE. It wont kill us to be nice every now and then.

for me it all depends i was new once and had no idea about farming or anything so if im in the mood ill give them a few gold like 5g - 50g nothing real big and i have always gotten a ty from it never had anyone be rude or and ass about the amout

I used to be nice but it got old real fast and i see these lvl 5's running around SW asking for gold in full chanted heirloom gear. So now everytime someone ask i open trade put usually 500k or so in the trade window and go would this do? there response is usually hit trade and go yes please. Then i'll cancel trade and tell them to go farm it like the rest of us. yes i know im cruel

Me and my girlfriend consider our Gold, every g of it hard earned -botted or otherwise.

To be honest I despair at those people who ask for it publicly, don't they have any sense of honour or mental acuity to actually figure it out for themselves ?

heh. well I usually don't get asked for it...
But I once, found a random low level and gave him 40k + 4 bags and mats worth around 6k, because I was planning to quit.
The irony, is that I started playing again 4 days later.. -.-
But I don't really regret it tho.
