Herb/Mine Mount Hyjal (Starting area)

I had a bit of problems with the full Mount Hyjal profiles that were posted because of the mobs that you encounter on the way. Since my bot is level 80 I wanted a route that would cover a small, low-level part of Mount Hyjal, so I made this one.


I don't have a map but the route covers the green top area of mount Hyjal, running close to the mountain most of the time.

Since this is my first profile, I appreciate comments, A LOT! So throw it to me. Productive/Non-productive. Whatever. I just want to hear what you have to say.

seems good! watching for 30min now and there was no fight till now...harvested my first obsidum ore^^

the only problem is if you want mention it as a "problem" is that the farming area is not very big so there are only few ores...

edit:

does repair, rezz and mailbox work with that profile or is this a gb issue?

There are very few mines in this area, unfortunately. I've also noticed that since this area is overpopulated this early, there's not many nodes. I don't know if it'll improve when people start going to bed, but only time will tell. I've noticed that there are more herb nodes than ore nodes in this area so I get a lot more experience by running it both as a herb and mine profile.

I intended this as a starting profile for those who wanted to get a little bit of new world herbs and ores without being max level cap and without dying too much because of the extreme rate of respawning mobs in the rest of the Mount Hyjal area. I am planning on doing an extended route where the profile will try to avoid as much fighting as possible. It takes a bit more exploration of the landscape, though.

Let me know if you see any other problems.

This is GB issue. Mailboxes and repair points have not been added yet. Best thing I've decided to do is just let my guy run all reds for awhile and not waitout rez sickness. He won't kill most mobs anyway even at lvl 82 so he rez's and right back to farming. Also if you farm ore only you will very rarely run into any mob.

Tested this. It seems to gets stuck a lot. Seems to skip nodes too. I'll retry the profile after deleting my badnodes file.

I've noticed that too. Even thought I ascend when approaching a mountain it will not do this when I am running the profile afterwards. It doesn't seem to want to pick up on it. Any idea why?

the repair guy for horde is named: "Toron Felshuf" (german). There is also a mailbox near. it should not be such a problem to implement these

Yeah and it gets stuck too often. Altitude might be too low.

I assume altitude is something I can adjust? I'm just worried of going too high because I don't want it to ignore all nodes if the bot is too high up.

now i was testing it with herbs.. i was afk 15min and when i came back equip was red :-( with ores the profile is fine but herbs...

Did some testing with it, and honestly, you need to do some work on this. I'm constantly running into a mountain, or a tree, or something. It's not a clean run at all. I'll wait on version 2, assuming you are going to update it.

I've run three circuits with this so far and while it does seem to get really hung up on trees and mountains, it does get over the top of them or around them.

There are also a few underground nodes that it goes for, when I think I've got them all I'll post them for people to add (if I remember).

Same. Got stuck on a tree for over an hour in a highly populated zone.

Thanks for all the feedback. This is definitely a version one and like I said it's my first try ever at making a profile so I am VERY grateful for the testing and feedback. I will get to work on the issues and see what I can cook up.
