Help With Starting A WoW Empire!

Hello All!

I am planning on making a WoW Empire! I saw Bosslands blog entry: WOW Bot for PVP Leveling Gathering - Gatherbuddy & Honorbuddy Forums - Bossland's Blog - Blogs and was definitively inspired by it. I have been planning on doing this for quite some time, and I have been reading over the forums on different tips and tricks on keep my accounts safe. I would like you inputs though!

My ultimate goal right now would be having 50+ farmers.

My question is, how many farmers should I have per server? Maybe like 5 per server??

I honestly do not have a clue, I guess it depends on what I want to farm ultimately. I've been brainstorming different things to farm, and I know I don't want like 3 toons on the same server farming the same mats, like elementium ore and whiptail.....right? I suppose I could if i spread them out into different areas, and not all in Uldum, if I didn't, I'd be competing with myself, and that is what I do not want to do.



Next question, I've read that you should only post a maximum number of things in the AH per day, because you don't want to get caught "Abusing the Economy." I saw a post that said spread them out over different bank alts, So if I made 1 farmer per account, and say 8 or 9 bank alts to post items on the AH, would that be safe?....

I also saw a majority of people saying that using a guild bank to transfer items between toons and gold is the safest method of transferring goods from one toon to the other, and I could not think of a better way, unless they linked all the toons in the guild to be botters and mass ban the guild... >.<.....think that is possible? of course anything is possible, but whats the likely hood of it happening?

I also read that one should use VPN's if they are going to have a lot of botters on the same IP/Computer. Is this neccesary? I am sure it would help more than anything. whats everything input on that?



Any other tips or help would be greatly appreciated! No flamers please :). I do not care if i only get .15 cents/1k...who says im doing it to sell :P....

wow 50 farmers.... it would not only cost a heap of cash to get the games and such, but there's a promo on now so it's cheaper for a little while. but not only that.. but you would need 50 hb keys... XD what would be a heap of cash, then you gotta level 50 farmers up, then leveling there professions alot of work for 1 man.. but /support.


and the monthly fee for each account each month, however when you buy the battle chest you do get 1 month free.. but after that you're on your own.

doing the maths I am not sure how much monthly is been so long..... since I checked but if it was around ?10 a month it will cost around ?500, and dont get me wrong if you get these farmers up 50+ you should have no issues with paying it all.

also I have a spare account I just got back, if you wish to use it, it has 85 mage on it and 78 warlock and an other 70 mage and 80 mage :D and some other chars its a good start account for free :P

u simply wont have the time it tkes to manage 50 accs urself would take the whole day. but gl trying it if u go for it :)
 
super easy to manage accounts, def. not a problem either. :D. anyone have suggestions to my questions referenced in my first post?

On each Account is at least one lvl 80 Paladin (Alliance) and on the
cataclysm acc one lvl 85 Mage as far as I know.

All Characters on EU-Servers!

All of those accounts under the same battle net? Seems risky.
 
This is not a flame, just something you may think about:

Who are the people here? Many of the people here are here to earn some bucks with botting. They had bans, learned of it. They were scammed, learned of it. And now, they should tell you their little tips and tricks for staying save in this "business"? To have another rival in business? A little outrageous, eh?

BTW, it looks like you have nearly zero experience in botting, don't you think it's a bit snotty to start up with 50 farmers and ask here for support?

I really don't want to flame you, but i think it's the wrong way you want to start the things. Start small, grow slow. Or get greedy and lose all :p

Don't take this the wrong way...but you are like 1,000th person here to post this and about the 10 millionth wow player to have a similar 'great' idea. more power to you...but if this was easy, an empire would already exist.
 
i already have 14 farmers going, and am looking for any additional advice towards my goal. Any snot remarks are ignored, BECAUSE, i asked for suggestions, not saying "oh noes you gonz failz!"

Dont increase your post count on my thread by flaming ^^ if you read my original post, i said no flammers! :D......but i guess people cant read nowadays :D
 
I think 5 bots/1 server is way too much. 2-3 would be enough, depends on servers economy tho.
 
Low pop server with 2 bots farming i overwhelm the AH I'm having to stored thousands of mats in guild banks. So how many bots per servwr is your own opinion on what population realms your gonna hit. I would have grouped bots across a vpn 20-20-10 just incase of gm inspections. But if warden updates and gets un-noticed that will run for a couple of weeks and then a ban wave and you will lose all I say this because of glider banwave. Again upto the user run 50 from same ip and risk all or mix it up with vpn. Personally I just use one but im not quite upto 50 yet. Your goals are possible, decent pc with SSD drive is a must. Using arelog will be your best friend. Not much help really but interested in your project. I myself Have stopped botting if you want any free botting 3+ I would be interested. I don't require anything.
 
Um dont use AH? that should seem pretty obvious unless your new to the scene
you need private buyers for items I find that ore is the easiest to sell in bulks, I personally supply over 5 people right now I make way more in a day with one person then i ever would in AH because I can sell atleast 200 stacks in one sitting
