Help with pokehbuddy

I don't understand how to set up pet logics. can anyone help me?

these are the pets im using and what I want is to use correct order and not switch til dead "profile for PVP" atm any pet that is almost dead itll just switch pets over and over til they die
like for lil rag when it casts flamethrower it wont cast conflag afterwards just spams magma wave


anyone fluent in this profile/plugin? please help and ty in advance

I usually answer these questions. It's not too much work. I just haven't been playing much, or checking the threads.

I could probably whip up the changes, but you'd also have to edit the version yourself, so... 50/50, you can learn most of this if you've got an idea of how it works.

I don't know what you have already, so it won't help unless you learn how to create, view or edit the existing pet listing so there is a logic to work with.

how to get what you want using the logic, can be frustrating.

Perhaps unfortunately, every author /coder has sort of given up at some stage due to the return of investment being pretty weak. And, Battle pet PvP has been neglected for a long time as a result of this.

So, first off, pet sequences won't be easy. It can be hacked, but it will break the plugin.

Two, It should be going in with pet 1, then swapping to the "best" pet when it's triggered to, usually by that pet's death, or a health check.
Three, ability preferences and pet logic are easy, ie with lil' rag.

Look at the existing pet logic, and think about it this way...

What comes first.

This should be survival or Shields, health, or healing.

Then heavy cooldowns, and Dots /Hots.

Then leave a generic filler at the end to cover any unforeseen problems.

Each line in the logic is processed in sequence. if the condition is true, it runs. If it's not, it skips to the next line. This way, you can have hundreds of possible options for 3 abilities on the same pet, and it will be as complicated as it needs to be, and work.

If you post the pseudo code of what you want Valkyy, the runt, and rag to do, I can show you the proper format or if it's possible to do so, so you can edit your version and make changes to your version of pokehbuddy.

to bad I think pokehbuddy needs a update cause Its broken and not showing up atm. til then ill research what you said and once its up "hopefully" ill post what I have so far
