Help VMWare is running super low

hi guys i need a bit of help i have been trying to setup a vmware for botting but every time i try the vm is runing super low, i give it 4gb of ram but still runs super slow, i give it 4 cores and still super low i think it maybe my hdd but i am not sure, any tips on this?

i am not sure if this is in the right place if its not pls move it to the right place

VMwares are not optimized for games so it is slow and it always will be slow.
Virtual machines also do not add any extra security to botting :)

For the bot it does not matter if its slow and only has 15 fps for example.
Problem is that we do not support botting in virtual systems but maybe adding a logfile is a good idea to see if the issue is maybe caused by something else.
 
when i say slow i mean super slow when i open a explore window it takes a long time to load, i dont believe that vm is ment to be that slow, i want a vm so i can use a vpn on that one and still play on my main account without a vpn

i have not even try to run wow or hb on it because it is so slow that i dont think wow would even load
 
You can add a hb logfile and maybe another user using vmware might help. Official support for VMWare botting does not exist sorry.

Why don't they add extra security to botting when using a different ip for example?

i find this vm myth funny. How many years i've read every few days discussions abt VM's, yet there is no evidence it makes it more safe to bot in any way. Kinda funny and sad at the same time :D
 
its my understanding bliz has banned all wows with the same ip/mac or what ever, the vm will make it look ur like not on the same one which means it is safer, i just dont want my main account to be banned coz i was botting on other accounts, yes i could use a vpn on my pc without a vm but i would not be able to bot and play wow at the same time

My VMs are running fine. But really, no extra security even they have their own environment?

I also have a question:

Currently I have 2 VMs with Win8 + WoW + HB on my computer where WoW without HB is running. They're running about 8-12hours day. (but never at the same time when I'm in WoW)
Both VMs have a bridged connection with their own MAC address. Does that mean that my main WoW account is still in danger because I'm botting without VPN/Proxy? Does that mean that I have to use a different VPN/proxy for each VM?
What if I want to give gold or stacks of items to my main account. How do I do it without getting in trouble with blizz?
 
sounds like your hdd might be the speed factor in this case.

i personally run a 3 vm clients with 2 wow hb instances in each. They're all in a ssd, so they run fairly smoothly. limiting factor for me is ram.

I dont like the ignorance filled fist reply from the admin, perhaps they should limit their mouth to what they know, such as he only should've said: "we do not support botting in virtual systems but maybe adding a logfile is a good idea to see if the issue is maybe caused by something else." instead of all the ignorance vomited before that.

You can cry as much as you want - give us the proof that a VM and different IP and shit makes it more safe to bot! Ah you dont have a proof? Oh yeah so dont talk abt ignorance here. Is there a god? Yes? Proof.
 
I think your hdd could be a factor. I'm using 3xVM Win7 running 3x wow sessions + hb each all monitored by arelog.

At start virtual hdd was on a classic 7200/rpm hdd and i recently switch to ssd. I really have better performance when doing some manual stuff on vm.

But as i understand about vmware virtual graphic driver, its just a software making a virtual graphic card and not related to the main graphic card on computer. So graphic perf in game will never be as good as the main os.

If you had the ability to do something to add extra protection even if its not confirmed why wouldn't you do it?

If you are running a five man team on a single PC and all inside their own VM, they can then all have their own IP address and HWID.
I'm pretty sure that Blizzard is able to make the connection between accounts using either of these pieces of information, so why would it be a bad idea to do something to avoid giving them that ability?

So when your five man team is running and a GM looks at it they can either see five accounts on the same machine and IP. Or they can see five accounts on separate machines and five separate IP addresses spread out across the country.
 
I didnt say it is a bad idea. But ppl tend to act like that they KNOW that a VM increases safety which they do not. Of course do what want to make you feel more comfortable and maybe a VM really helps, who knows.

If i had the ability to run my stuff in VMs but i don't have the hardware for it. But if i did i would most definitely run each of them in their own VM and each on their own HWID and IP. You could say that it might be paranoid or overkill but I'm 100% positive that it would greatly reduce the chances of you getting banned. There is no 100% guaranteed way of keeping yourself from getting banned but the more that you do to protect yourself the better chances you have of keeping your team unbanned and making you money for as long as possible.

Making a VM setup is also extremely easy. Find a torrent for VMware and install it-> Make new VM with W7 or 8 -> Install WoW, Honorbuddy, VPN Client -> Clone VM for as many bots as you need. If you have the hardware to run it setting this up would take less than an hour.
 
vms are bad becouse you can run less bots with it. less bots = less profit thus vms are bad. it will help you to appeal though but i appealed once and they banned my bank account as well and i never did it again
