HELP - Dungeon/LFR Tanking with HB and Enyo

HI all,

Did a few searches in the forums but could not find any references to guides or such on how to effectively run Enyo/LR while tanking. What I essentially want to do is let HB control the rotation but intervene for cooldowns and targeting et al. What I've noticed when I try to interrupt my healer/dps CR's currently is they will either ignore my target change or I have issues casting something because it is not responding to my key presses due to executing CR.

Is there a guide or perhaps a veteran tanker available that can offer some advice on how to setup HB/enyo to do as described?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

It would be helpful to know what class, and which CR you are using. In general though you can go into the "Class Settings" in HB and Toggle off things like: Move, Target, Face, Taunt, ect. Most CRs have an interface that allows you to toggle these types of settings off. Also I always Tick the box in Enyo "Bot Settings" that turns off click to move.
 
Yeah that would be interesting, I'm having the same issues with TuanHA.
You can disable charge&Cooldowns in the CRs settings, but you cant setup targeting.
So for example you want to target the mob that you want to interrupt spellcasting, but you cant change the target.
 
The First tab of all of Tuanha's Crs (Upper right hand corner) there are Toggle boxes for Movement, Target, Auto Face, Auto set focus and a few others. If you turn Target off you will be free to select a target of your choosing without the CR switching it constantly. If you are trying to handle your own interrupts you will need to turn that toggle off as well which is usually on the left hand side of Tab1 otherwise you may find that the CR has burned your "Kick" CD already. It is worth pointing out that you can also use a Mouseover setfocus macro and toggle the Interrupt option to just kick your focus target when it casts and is in range of the kick. Play with the toggles and the settings and if something is not working exactly as you had hoped, hit Tuanha up in his forum threads he is usually very good at responding if you provide him with all of the details upfront. i.e. logs, screen captures(if relevant), and a precise description of your expectations or problems.

I figured, for the most part, mouse-over macros would do a decent job for target taunting etc. What I am mostly worried about is the bot derping and doing shit it shouldn't be doing, pulling adds shouldn't be in a way that screams "BOT".

I noticed in one thread (https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...roic-mythic-tank-post1740496.html#post1740496) someone said that Honorbuddy cannot handle mythic mechanics in a tank discussion, so am a bit wary of going to dungeons blind and it being a complete disaster. I do not intend on going into mythic, but for tanking normals/heroics i'd like to know if it is possible using Enyo.
 
If you use it only as a rotation bot u can run mythic. With TuanHa CC you have allmost everything you can check or uncheck and decide, what you want to do on your own. There´s a pause key in enyo.

So Alt X Click Alt X is very common hehe.
 
Yeah it takes too long in the heat of battle to pause enyo, cast the spell, resume enyo. Nothing available within the CR setup that would assist in manual casting?
