Hellfire rings

I've done quite a lot to make farming keys easier. I've got profiles for farming keys and fighting ubers. You can check out in my signature. It makes key hunting a breeze and my plugin does a lot to speed things up (accurately count keys, picks act, keywarden detection, warden death handling/walk back to corpse/warden, key/organ detection and forced pickup, etc...)

If you're running one bot on one account, don't bother. You need a well equipped bot to be efficient at finding keys, and if you want any chance of getting organs efficiently, you need to be able to handle the ubers bosses at MP5-6. Monk is really good for this.

If you plan to have many bots on your account, I would recommend one. Makes leveling up to 60 a joke, and does help with paragon leveling. I'd also recommend the cain set, leoric and obviously the best ruby to maximize paragon leveling.

The problem is that you need a lvl 60 to get the ring first Magi so the leveling isent that much. I have 2 p100 barbs that did it in 27 days well the one with hellfire did it one day faster and dident run ass much as the other so in the end maby 2 days diff. But it all depends on what you prefere. Its all about the mf gf anyway and that is maxed at 80 anyway.
 
Usually I pay 4-5m igg (thats the price if u dont have machines) for 1 ring @d2jsp. I think its totally worth it.
Im just not sure a second hellfire ring on follower would worth the money.
 
just saying if you're running more than 1 char on a single account, hellfire might be worth it. Doesn't take a huge amount of effort to get one, but if you're "pro-botting" then it doesn't make much sense since you're only using one char per account, and yes, you need a decently equipped level 60+ to even acquire the ring. 35% is still a decent chunk to whack off the paragon level time, but you'll likely max out MF/GF before you hit 100 anyway with some pieces of eq.

All depends on your intentions.

Not worth it to equip a follower really, only to level 60 and even then, the proc is only good in Normal/Nightmare (yes, the proc actually does some good in those instances!)

EDIT - I also managed to level my monk to mid-level 80 on basically just keyhunting runs before it got banned. You do still get a fair amount of gold/xp, and you'll find some nice items on those high mp levels so it's not a total waste hunting keys. In the end, you can transfer money to other accounts and buy yourself leoric/cain vs hellfire and make up the difference and that'd be the route to quick leveling I'd probably take if you're trying to make coin off of D3.
