Hearthbuddy - No support, no new content, no activity

Hello tony, The problem is the forums are dead. Which means the bot is dead. You guys dont have any devs that develop new decks or anything unlike other competitors that pay devs to actually develop new deck files. The bot is also never updated at all. Sorry if im a bit harsh, I just wanted to let you know all the problems me and many others are having with this bot.

I also agree, I would like to see some progress being made and ACTUAL improvements to the bot come out, sooner rather than later. The things being discussed in the forums are not that much to ask for. There are parts of the bot the either need to be improved by you the developers or provide an API we can USE to create our own decks, custom classes, and routines. I know I'd be more than happy to put in more than a few long coding sessions, like back in the WOWGlider day when I built/improved custom classes.
improve deck is optional I guess bot can do the main objective that got 100 gold and complete quest per day
since grinding rank games to legendary is need more than just coding.
but feature that really need to improve in this bot is MORE HUMAN LIKE
you can already see that many ppl starts to know that who's botting, who's not.
just add a bit thing like
-random hover on cards
-random use emotes when killing or end game
and now no one can know who's bot again.

Cant agree. Hearthbuddy is just a bot so I just need it run safety and stability, which is the ONLY intended use for this software.
What do you need? Massive discussions in forums? Super new functions？
I bought hb in June last year. In the next few months it ran unstable and I thought I made a wrong shopping decision. But later every powerful bot has been completely banned by blz. HB survive and after several updates it run very steady. Now I think I made a best shopping decision.
Please notice a fact: botting is against the game agreement and blizzard is famous for banning bots strictly. More powerful functions only make our lifetime license becoming 0 time. Swift updates for new client/cards and small algorithm optimization for ladder mode are good enough

I have no major complaints. Random hover would be really nice, I agree. No requirement for emotes one way or the other.
I would however like some simple stuff though regarding card usage. Ie: With cards that have some requirements, maybe have the ability to set it so you can always meet that criteria. Ie: Certain combo cards are only used in combos (if you set it for those card(s)). Druid cards of choice only do one option, and the bot never considers the other (aka, Ancient of War 5/10 Taunt generally more useful than 10/5). Quarter Master never plays without at least X Silver Hand recruits. Place a trap if you have the spare mana instead of ending turn and keeping the trap in hand (honestly, this one is really stupid). If this kind of stuff would be allowed to be edited on our side, that's all I would ask.

Since the last patch reaching Rank 5 is rewarded with golden cards at the end of each month.
This is why there is an actual need of a Bot, that has a developed AI, that actually can reach high ranks.
Now Hearthbuddy has, due to its "stupidity", a disadvantage compared to better playing Bots like SmartCC.
How about the Programmers make a Thread, where they explain how the Logic behind the Bot works and how to code own Routiones ?
Here is my approach:
- The Community should be able participate in the development of the AI
- The Buddies could make a tutorial how people can link their own Routines with the DefaultRoutine without deleting the last one.
- This way one person could write a routine for "Patron Warrior" and share it with the community, while someone else keeps improving his "Freeze Mage" ........

Not to mention, other bots like smart bot that have functions like coach that tells you what to do with an overlay so you can see what the bot recommends and make your own decision. Or randomization of hovering etc. and maybe at least 3 decks that can reach over rank 10 that are constantly updated to meta which i can guarantee you is not the case now. (sorry for mentioning other bot name didnt know if its against the rules or not)
Care to share your deck/config, then? I couldn't for the life of me get HB to recognize combos in meta decks (e.g. countering release the hounds with warsong commander + patron).
