Hi Buddys, so first of all i wanna apologize for my english that may be bad but it's not my mother language, though i hope that you will understand me properly.
So, i just reached the 70 lvl with my HC toon, using the Wortham Merchant quest, but the problem here is that now he is totally unstuffed.
So, I would like to ask you the best way to earn items in a safe way.

Train up your blacksmithing and craft yellows for your toon, then run it on normal with Armory plugin so that it auto-equips better gear. Keep a close eye on how it performs for the first hour or so to make sure it is OK to leave afk. What class?

You dont need much gear to be able to handle normal white monsters and some easy bosses, i would as stated above try to get atleast 3-4 parst from crafting, or if you have a friend or anything that can trade you yellow items, doesnt even have to be your mainstat. Then go Legendary road profile in act 1 on normal with armory plugin, givet it 12 hours and you will have descent normal farm gear
