Anyone have a guide on HC botting? I tried but my bot always die somewhere while doing the acts :|
 
hc is not supported just play it yourself one day you hero die:)

What class are u playing?

Im botting on HC i think in every class, but most experienced with WD. First of all focus on levelup with Wortham Merchant Quest. Make some gear up then farm items with -req lvl 25-30. Its quite easy to make a new hero and gear him up from stash. My characters die average after 200h playing. It does not hurt that much cause a lot of time u have looted items compared to those u have now. Just keep them in stash ;)
 
I used to bot HC alot, but usually after 150h or 200h they just die, its frustrating, dont bother with it

doesnt matter how tanky, how geared they are, there is an elite affix combined with the a certain dc which will kill your char.

Pre RoS i got in my graveyard 8 barbarian with paragon level 55+-.

Currently in RoS i lost 2 geared barbs (25-30m tougness and 500-900k dps) and 1 very geared Crusader

My last barb which died, the bot facerolled t2 with him, did legendary road for 1 week, one day i wanted faster runs so i lowered to T1 - in the morning it was dead.

Thorns Crusader w/ Heal on Block and lots of life regen along with Thundergods Fury and a few other similar items like Shaefer's Hammer / Pox Faulds in the right difficulty could currently make a HC char completely unkillable even if AFK while still capable of dealing solid amounts of damage. :p
 
if you want to bot HC, never do T1 rift or bounty buddy. There are a lot of boss farm profile out there that you can do T5+ for loot. I bot HC since ROS come out and still going strong , i got all 6 classes to 70 and 530 paragon level with 1 million sheet dps in HC.

here is the step to get high level paragon and gear HC character

1/ level 1 - 70 using wortham merchant quest in T6
2/ run Act 4 normal bounty for some days to get your character gear up ( until he have around 450 - 600k sheet dps)
3/ run T1 or 2 Ghom run to get loot and powerlevel paragon

When your bot can kill T6 Ghom under 20 second, its end game for botting =) time to level another class RISE and REPEAT

Things to avoid botting in HC

NO T1+ bounty or Rift
dps over toughness

Only issue is you have to manually quest to get there or... get someone to invite you to that quest.

The other issue is that you wont get much gear at all and i mean ZIP! but you can get 2 1-70's in a day. buy merch gear and pray you dont die on normal

I absolutely disagree. This is only and i repeat, ONLY somewhat good if you don't have anyone to plvl you from 60-70 and have NO gear.
Other than that it sux big time.
Ghom is the way to go.

> you raise to T1
> you farm T1 carefully and get some better exp
> you faceroll T1, exp is slow and you feel comftable

Now two options:
1) you raise to T2 and eventually die
2) you stay in T1 and eventually die
 
im on Ghom in HC and i never die (torment 1-2) even if i get DC i still survive due to hp regen and resistance + kormac <3
 
Rolling HC is imo because you want the challenge, botting for gold / mats just maybe but even so i would not, not on HC.

I have far too much fragile and expensive furniture to even try HC but if i did, id leave DB out of it. Some things are sacred ^^
