Over the past night my account was hacked. I have a different password only for WoW. The only place I have typed this password is HBRelog and the actual WoW client. I have no viruses on my computer. I was wondering if anybody else has noticed something behind the scenes in HBRelog and/or had their account hacked?

I really don't even use the AV too much. I just know what I am downloading and make sure its safe before I do.

Yeah mhmm. Thats what 90% of the people I have as customers allways. Right before I clean their system, or reinstall their OS and explain to them risky behavoir and then come back in a few weeks / months because they have a slow computer again.

There is nothing going on with HBRelog.

HBRelog does not communicate outside of your internal resources. Feel free to learn how to monitor your port communication transmissions and monitor it yourself. If HBRelog was a clever way to steal people's information, it wouldn't be developed by a trusted developer in the community nor would anyone actually use it. I have used HBRelog for, oh I don't know., since I started and none of my accounts have been hacked. Also I monitor what ports are being used and by what regularly. HBRelog has not initiated anything it isn't supposed to.

Ok thanks. I can't figure out what in the world is hacking my accounts. Had one hacked last night and one just 10 minutes ago while I was online. How about aRelog? I mean I just created this windows bootcamp and have installed a minimal amount of programs (WoW, hb, hbrelog, and clicked aRelog). Can anybody think of anything?

Dude. If they wanted to steal your info they would have just backdoored HB by now. aRelog is made by a HB dev as is HBrelog. They don't steal your info. I've used them for a long time and none of my accounts are hacked.

Thats what I thought too. These people that are hacking my account are quick. Sent like 30k gold and traded it in like 1 minute. Isn't there a way to put a authentication on your account where if it logs in from weird places it requires a code but not from your normal place?

my account passwords are randomly generated, so no human would be able to guess them, yet ive have accounts hacked into. its not hbrelog.

You can put in your cell number on the account and login and if another IP logs in it will give them a error and when you log in it will tell you to check your phone for a text. Input the code and your in again. Forgot what it was called on the website tho. Also download malwarebyte's and do a full scan. Change the info and if all else fails do a full system restore. The only way they could access your account that fast is if you have a RAT or Keylogger on your PC. Also download some anti-virus software. It dosnt bog your PC down much at all unless it's old as hell. And if you got a old PC you can always get one that uses less resources. Best of luck getting this all fixed.

Have you tried completely reformatting your system? How about changing your email's and passwords? How about using a password that's not bruteable. Check your password generation method using something like Password Strength Checker or google password strength checker.

I actually had the SMS protect on my phone and I never got a text saying anything happened. It just logged me out and when I went it I had lost 18k.

This! Allow it to bind to your machine, so HBRelog can login.
Anyway, purge your windows installation, reinstall a clean version (clean as in "not downloaded some shitty torrent") install all the updates, don't use Flash or Java in your browser.

I'm not an idiot when it comes to computers. I honestly don't understand how somebody logs into my account when I have SMS protect on from a foreign ip. I was by the computer, logged in 1 second, logged out for like 20-30 seconds, and went to log in again and had all my gold gone. It never said you need to reset password or anything. They just straight logged in and sent gold.

I literally made this boot camp partition like a week ago. I really want to figure out how whoever is accessing my stuff.

Thanks for all the responses guys. Trying to get a solution for my answer.

Oh yes I already did that. Binded to computer and HBRelog works fine. Fix for now until I figure the account compromise issue.
