The first Questing beta was released about 2 months ago, and I think since it came out until now there weren't so many "big" updates, override came 18-06-10 and sometimes it doesnt override.

I think all the quests should have its override, instead of actually reading it from World of Warcraft, It would be hard to override all 8445 Quests ( some of those dont even exist anymore ), but it was a thing that 85% of the comunity could do (not 85% of people that bought/use HB but the ones who actually are considered community), and could be done in like 1 week

Quest profiles like, walk to NPC id:12345 name "Lin Baden" and get the quest he has for you instead of accepting everyquest around, use the item on coords, use the item on npc when dead, use the item on npc below 20%, etc, collect the item that are around this area etc. This would allow to do effective questing profiles would solve some bot conflicts such as being confuse about doing 1 thing or doing other.

Bot wouldn't have to think, it just needed to follow instructions, would be smoother since you wouldnt have any breakdowns when the bot is trying to decide whats going to do next. I think devs started on the wrong foot. Even if the bot will even have imba Artificial Inteligence it won't know some things like, you have 2 quests, 1 ends on place A and the other ends on place B, but place A has new quests to pick and those can be done near place B.

  • Bot delivers quest A, picks new quests, goes to place B , does new quests delivers all the quests (b+new ones) FASTEST
  • Bot delivers quest B, delivers quest A, picks new quests, goes to place B again SLOWEST

Bare in mind I don't even have an idea of what devs are trying to do, and the difficulties they are leading with, these are just my 2 cents.

i herd some kinda scripting system is coming, along with alot of other things to make questing really work well, i dont wanna say what because then i would be an asshole. just be patient, all will come in time. it would help if blizzard didnt keep ninja patching shit. because when patches sit around for a long time, like months, like 3.3.3 did, they actually have time to go in and refine the bot. instead of just fixing bugs and patching to get the bot to work with a new version of wow.

To me this says they need more coders. As this is a normal company like any other, they need to make sure they can progress no matter what blizz does. Its no excuse.

theres at lest 6 people if not more workng to bring you a working bot and functional website as far as i could tell glider only had 2. great things take time and its even harder to do when the game keeps changing right from under you.people take alot for granted.

No one is taking anything for granted, people paid for HB1, not HB2, they are doing this as a plus since bots keep updating themselves and have a competition, I just gave my opinion, as I said I think it would be better the way I told.
