HB Try to pickup Quest i already done

Hello,
frist sry for my bad english.


Yesterday i worked with Cavas profiles 85-90.

All worked fine but after the hotfix i wanna try Cava Valley of 4 Winds Alliance. HB try to pick up a quest i already done end end up in a endless circle of trying.

I also got the same Problem with Kickz 1-XXX Profile or any other Quest profile.

i tried some fresh installtion but it dont work.

Got the same error. Deleted all quests in this area but still get the same error. Or does i need to delet all quests in every area?

Have the same issue with nearly each char

Unfortunatly some of Kicks profiles are not 100% AFK due to the fact that yes it will glitch sometimes but all you have to do is do that one quest and it should continue. This has happended to me a couple of times and I understand. Kick does a great job and he just moved into a new house so he's probably got alot going on. Best I can tell you is that just check on it everynow and again and if its stuck just trying to repeat pick up a queast, stop HB and do the quest then turn it back on, it should resume. POWER TO THE EXPLOITERS!

I did it.

But Finally now he stucks on a another Quest he wont pickup.View attachment 6420 2012-10-12 20.22.txt



Thats one Point. I used the profiles for Jade Forest from Cava on thursday and it works without a Problem. Now after Blizzards Hotfix i got the same problem there. I tried Fresh installation of HB, WOW and i cleared my questlog complete. I also tried another PC but the Problem still exists. I also never got Problems with Questprofiles. If i got dced while i was afk i restart the bot after hours. He compline QUest and walks to the actual NPC Questgiver. I nerver cleared my Questlog.

I also studied the Thread of Cavas profiles wich i linked in my first Post, theres the Information the Problem is HB itself.

So i think to he didnt compling Quest. If i start him he walks brainless to the Npcs and interact/close in a cycle. He didnt realize that the quest is alredy finished.
 
I have the exact same issue. Endless circle of "moving to npc to pickup quest" and he just spams npc. I have tried it all as well. Delete the quest. Done the quest as well but it gets stuck all the time...
And i have read in cavas profiles thread that its not the profile, its the bot itself. So a solution to this would be appreciated.
 
I Think the part compling quests dont work.

I remember HB checked all Quest hosts...

Fox Grove
xxxx.
xxxx.
xx...

and go to the Quest NPC whos up to date...

But now he starts always with the first Quest in the profile. HE dont care if its done or not. And again your in the circle of death.

Still has the Problem, but just With Startzone profiles from kickz (Goblin, DK, etc.)
 
Quest pickup and Quest Turnin seems bugged.

Hopefully they will look into it.
 
Is there a way to force a flush of the quest cache or whatever the quest bot keeps the quests in?
Yes I am looking to purge some files from my hard drive. The cqc files do other things and the CompiledAssemblys .dll are only for compiled Conditions and stuff, I suppose.

Besides, hoping that the empty Questlog helps, is more a joke than a workaround unfortunately!

However, I think you guys are better off posting in each profiles' respective threads.
 
So the suggestion here is to make a clean install each time you wanna do daylies ?

Seems a bit far-fetched tbh.

When a repeatable quest has been turned in once it appears that questbot does not turn them in again because they are flagged as allready done..

I am trying to make a profile but something isn't working as it should.

So suggesting that we should be posting in respective profile section is plain wrong.

Something is broken.

Thank you for your fast reply. Excuse me, but I must insist that "try a clean installation" is not a feasible solution for said problem.
We are not the average users with ever repeating stupid questions. We are, to some extend, profile writers that do care for this piece of software and the community around it. We cannot do what we would like to do (writing both private and public profiles) this way!

As much as I appreciate your answer, why don't you dev guys talk to us seriously? Please just answer my question. Thank you. :)

I even tried a frsh PC with fresh WOW and fresh HB but nothing work. Even Profiles i used 4 ages.... This Problem is since the hotfix. Other profiles also dont work. HB dont compling Quests. HB start at the first Quest and stuck in a circle.

Have you even looked at all the reports on this bug in the forums?

With all due respect - this isn't a profile issue. We're seeing NUMEROUS reports of this problem across MULTIPLE profiles. For once, I'd just like to see someone from the HB team admit there's a problem and say they're working on it. Tony repeatedly saying "delete all your quests" is a very poor answer - and doesn't address the problem. Why is it so hard to get a straight answer?
