So ths is a very simple request ( I think, I have no knowledge of coding so it may be really difficult) to have somewhere on the "status" tab 2 lines that state your current version of HB that you are using and the second line thats states the most recent release of HB. And potentially an "Update" button if you are out of date. Yes I know there is an addon for this but I would much prefer it be really visible and easy (not to bash the plugin but I have had problems with it before)

This has been requested millions of times before. We've asked for an automated updating system but it seems they've got higher priorities than that atm. The thing with stating what version HB is, is super duper uper easy. But don't know if they want that.
That may be but I just wanted to get a poll going to see what others wanted because I have found the the buddyforums is pretty community driven
I don't know what you want people to say.... like the earlier post said it has been brought up numerous times about having an automated update system but it hasn't been implemented and i doubt it will. It literally takes 2 mins to download the new version.
ya but the point of this is to let us know when a new version come out broseph
