HB at it's core is very likely not the culprit causing you heartburn. The profiles, plugins and CR's are more than likely at the root of the problem, but ultimately those are usually user settings. I'd 90% of the "problems" you are facing could be solved with some minor tweaks. I'd bet this because I have leveled around 60 toons with HB over the past 2 years in just about every way that I can imagine. And while I agree that it can be frustrating at times, usually I can look back and say "oh i should have just changed the profile to do this..." ect.
At the end of the day we ask for logs because usually someone can quickly scan through them and say "oh turn off kill between hotspots in that area and it will run like a champ..." or some other setting ect. Guessing why HB is not working for you is completely useless to you and to us.
