HB Plugins freezing/crashing

Ever since the last few iterations, I have had issues with trying to re-engage plugins. If I open the plugin menu, it opens fine. Once I select any plugins, and hit recompile, the whole program freezes up, and I have to use the task manager to kill the program itself, because it never comes out of trying to recompile. Then, when I try to open it back up, HB has issues trying to log in, keeps saying max logins, and takes minutes to relog back in.

This is happening on each and every toon that I haven't used since the updates, the older ones still had their old plugins set up, and haven't had any issues, however, I can't seem to find a log after this crash, due to it locking up and having to kill it completely. Seems I am not the only one this has been an issue with, just so far, no fix either. Is it the link to check every time that is causing this? Plugins worked fine before that link was set up. Please let me know if this is fixed or can be, really want to use it for my other alts, but, it will drown me, or not use potions due to the failure of plugins recompiling.

Seems there is a few after all... you can see where it tried to refresh, then, nothing, because I had to use Windows 7 to kill the program each time, and this is just on this toon moments before I posted about this.

its not compatible with the latest version of honorbuddy, please remove it.

Once again, it froze up, so it wasn't that plugin that was the issue. Here is the new log or logs:

well start removing plugins, id start with the relog helper.

Well that didn't work well at all. I had to remove every single plugin, even those installed by HB itself, before it would recompile. It keeps hanging after I hit the recompile button, and WILL NOT unfreeze. Then, when I kill the program, and restart it, HB tells me I have max sessions still. Not going to post the same types of logs yet again. Any new, good ideas, other than removing all plugins? Even the ones HB requires? Once I removed all plugins, it did recompile... but then, you would think so, since there is nothing there to compile!

Hope someone is actually looking into this issue. I have seen too many posts with this same issue, and no log files per se on them, yet, it is broad in affliction.

Download the latest version of honorbuddy.

Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one.

Ok, tried that as well, and once again, complete failure. Same logs as before, different(new) install directory and all...

Notice: It is the exact same. This was a fresh/complete new install. Only thing added was my code to make it work. This is still a serious issue, and would appreciate you passing it along to someone who can look into it.

What I needed was answers to an issue... however, since I didn't get any that helped, I played around, and finally found out that if I DO NOT hit the recompile button, just select the plugins that I want used, and then close out of the window using the x in the top right corner, HB apparently is now remembering, and so far, appears to be using, those selected plugins, without forcing a recompile that breaks HB and causes me to have to kill it using task manager.

Hope others can use this information to try to see if theirs will work as well... so far, it's the only thing I have found that may work, as the settings files do not show what plugins are being used in any of the files I checked thus far, so am unable to edit it to use in there, however, they do stay checked if you check them and then close the plugin windows. Hope this helps others with this same issue... Only thing I haven't tried yet, is to close HB and restart it, and see if the plugins are still checked... will check that after I let my toon run for a while, since I haven't been able to use HB for over 2 days while awaiting assistance to this issue.

i dont have an answer if i did it would of been given on post #2. also its not a widespread issue, this is the first and only time ive seen this. so if its working now for you, thats what matters.

And yes, it is working without using the recompile button. While I appreciate your answers, I am sorry, I did see at least 3 other posts just on the first 2 pages when I started this of others having this same issue, and I tried to reply on one or two of them so we didn't have multiple trouble posts out there for the same issue, however, the forum wouldn't allow me to post there... so, I am hoping someone benefits from this either way! It is why I stated that others were having this same issue in the first place...

However, it is definitely remembering the plugins and using them per the load menu in HB without having to hit the recompile button, which crashes HB for me as of now.
