HB on a Private server?

Would using HB on a private WoW server work?
would I need to use a older version?
If the servers are down, is there a way I could use a stand alone service?

Any feedback would help

HB does not support anything but official WoW severs. HB requires its own auth servers which won't allow older versions to authenticate or run.

Indeed, both Pontius001 and Nooblet are spot on.

Honorbuddy only supports the live game servers.
