Whats goin on? every time i run HB it crashes my computer and just turns it off completely. Im new to this, and i would attach a log but it all get erased when my computer shuts off! And it doesnt just shut down like that unless its on HB... Gatherbuddy works fine. I just bought the program and this makes it almost useless =[[ Any suggestions to fix it? i would REALLY appreciate it.

im sorry to say but it sounds like this is related to your graphics card are you using an onboard by anychance because on my previous pc running hb and wow would overload the G-ram causing the display driver to crash

give us more details about your system
specs and OS?

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz 2.33 GHz
Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
System type: 74-bit Operating System
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4670

ok its def not due to your pc so try un installing framework and reinstalling it both versions 3 and 4

also there is no such thing as 74bit there is 64 and 86x [86 is act5ually 32]

i ment to say 64 bit my apologies. And is there a certain place i need to DL the framework to?

My Computer is still crashing after uninstalling and reinstalling framework 4 and 3. any suggestions?

make sure that all your drivers are updated
the same for your directx
and for the windows updates

once you have updated your drivers e.t.c give us an update if your still having problems ill keep an eye on this thread and see what i can do

Ok, so everything was updated and running, left fore about 2 hours, and came home and my computer was off. I have been watching it when it just crashes too. it just completely turns my comp off suddenly.

Its set to "Never" on everything. and its not a sleep turn off, my comp has to boot back up. and it gives me the option to go into safe mode.

So i have tryed everything that has been suggested. Problem still continues. and the problem is DEF associated with this program. GB and HB both make my comp crash and it doesnt happen anytime other than when one of the two programs is running. Please help?

This isn't actually HB/GB related. Chances are, you have an anti-virus or firewall running that is causing issues. (Or you may have a virus, which seems much more likely)

See; How to troubleshoot a "STOP 0xC000021A" error

I suggest running a virus scan with something like Malwarebytes or Windows Defender: Home Page

Also; I suggest installing (and letting run) The home of Spybot-S&D!

These will rule out just about all cases of malware, spyware, and viruses on your system.

Honorbuddy is a fully managed application, and as such; cannot step down to the kernel level (or even modify kernel processes), which is the cause of your BSODs. [Note: it can do modify kernel processes, however, we do not, and never will, specifically to avoid BSODs such as this.]

ok so i DLed the spywear and malware protectors, they did find some thing and removed them. after reboot, and use of HB computer continues to crah within 20 mins. =[ is there a port i need to open? or how would i stop my computer fum full system shutdown out of the blue?

Stop messing around with virus removal and all that nonsense, just reinstall your system software.

If you have not done it before then I doubt you are gonna want to do this, but you need the original disc your computer came with or the retail copy of the OS you want to install. You need to back up all the data you want to keep(your entire wow folder, files, folders, saved games, bookmarks).

If this is something you would be interested in then say so, and I will give you a link with detailed instructions.

is it necessary to do a whole system restor?! =[[ and how do i back up my files? i have alot of music and pics and whatnot i dont want to lose off this comp. and if thats the only way to resolve this problem, then i guess im gonna need that link. would prefer to try ANYTHING other than that first.
