HB just forgets what its doing when running Enyo-singular on my mage in dungeons. and sometimes on my druid. im already seeking support on the enyo-leaves issue but i need support on my mage please.

im adding a log. you can see the errors when it seems like the bot doesnt see there are mobs present. i will run about 20 yards behind the tank and target, click keybind Ice Lance to start combat. my pet will either attack or not, but my mage will 4/5 times just stand there, or attempt to target a mob out of range, or just sticks its thumb in its ass and stands there.

any tips or advice to fix this issue would be most helpful. thanks.

the entire log is borked, but its got a bit of questing, then did utgarde keep on the last half of the log.

Hi, Frosticus, and thanks for the log.

The log is simply filled with these exceptions:
[21:46:39.073 D] System.Exception: Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed, at addr: 000000F4, Size: 4

Obviously, Singular can't function correctly if it doesn't receive input to act on, and can't issue directives.

Let's start with a simple machine reboot, and see if that will clear the issue.

If no joy, a 'clean install' is next:

If still no joy, then its time to look for interfering programs:

Fresh log please from the 'clean install', if still no joy. We've got to find and repair the cause of the exceptions for Honorbuddy to work correctly.

cheers,
chinajade

thanks for the quick response CJ.

this started with the asshat win10 upgrade a week or so ago.
or thats when i noticed it. my machine has been rebooted many times in the last week.
i fresh installed hb, then cleared all my caches, then reinstalled hb to make sure.
ive cleared all from the store but leveling.
i run win defender, no other av or firewall but windows

my druid is running better but still getting the styx errors, tons of styx errors, but that is for another day.

the last thing i can think of is all this damn itunes bullshit i had to install for the kid. ill go through the list and see if anything else catches my eye for offending programs.

ill get back in a bit
thanks

The first thing I advise my clients or that I do when I am upgrading their machines to Windows 10 is open an administrative command prompt and run sfc /scannow. I have encountered some very strange things and this will repair any corruptions or broken links in the file system that can happen with an upgrade.

As always, preferable to do a clean install. If you are wondering what the command does check here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/kb/929833

@zakkwylde

i ran that command and came back with corrupt files that could not be fixed. it gave a link to this file

I noticed that the date appears incorrect, but yeah a few errors there so if you are ok with a fresh install i would highly recommend that. I've been running HonorBuddy on Windows 10 since it was released and haven't had any issues, but as mentioned I did a fresh install.

The programs you listed as installed, nothing really jumps out at me and if the system checker spat errors then that is a problem with the OS files rather than any installed apps.

Before you do that, try installing any relevant Windows updates and then running the check again. For W10 its Start > Settings > Update & Security

Hi again, Frosticus,

As Zakkwylde suggests...
We know this sounds crazy, but its the same issue we've had for a number of Win10 users...
An UPGRADE install of Win10 fails to work with Honorbuddy, but a CLEAN install of Win10 and things run like they should.

We hate to recommend this solution, and wished we knew what was damaged by the Win10 upgrade install. But, if you've the time to try it, its definitely worth a shot.

cheers,
