HB install on Win7-64

On Windows7 64

I've run the cleanup tool on my system and even took .net4 off just in case.

I tried to run the 3.5sp1 installer as an admin, the computer asks me if I want to run it, I click yes, and nothing happens. .net 3.5 won't install itself.

Do i need to install 3.1 first or can the 3.5sp1 file be installed on it's own?


The reason I'm trying to do this is because I'm getting the same profile error that lots of other people seem to be having.

I'm also a little confused as to what the differences between GatherBuddy and HonorBuddy are?

HB will work fine on win7 x64 as-is. You are doing something wrong. I suggest you read around on the forums and maybe read some guides on setting up HB/GB. Also, the current "test" version of HB if kinda buggy. Either use the older version or wait for the next release.

edit: also, make sure you are running it as administrator.
 
If you were using the Test version, then start it ith admin rights!
The normal version works fine with Win7 x64...

Ok, I got it to run finally but now all my guy does is fly a little bit and just stop while I'm trying to use Archaeology Buddy.

It started working for me, not sure what was wrong. Thanks.
 
M8, read the 3 page off the HB realese chinajade poste, theres a fix for this.
