Hey, I've got the problem, that HB doesn't work in combination with DX11. It's just like the injection fails.. I can click on start, but nothing happens ingame.. the CR etc. simply doesn't work.. Wow is running as x86 but as long I'm trying to use HB + DX11, it doesn't work, as soon as I switch to DX9 it works.. so far no problem, used DX9 for months ago.. but the problem is that I've got graphic-bugs since 5.4 is released and I have to run wow on dx11 to fix this, so I'd like to fix my HB issue as well :D

Heres the log, any1 got any idea what is wrong and how to fix this? =D

kidding me? oO read the text again.
I want to know why I can't run DX11 if it's supposed to be.
DX9 is causing graphicbugs for me since 5.4...

I didn't say use the latest drivers, I said try using different drivers.

Since 5.4, all special effects and spells look pixelated for me. Are you having the same issue? All spells, all objects and everything in between look pixelated.

I'm talking about the special effects of the objects and spells, the fire part of torches looks pixelated with a weird white background on it.

my question is why I CAN'T use dx11, not what should I do instead (what I'm already doing), because of all the graphic-bugs, which were already mentioned.
Exactly the same like:

would be a relief to be able running the game on dx11 :)

Hi, Junky123,

The Buddy bots use techniques that depend on certain features of video drivers being implemented properly, and completely.

Video manufacturers usually put more effort into either DX9 or DX11 support, and let the other one languish. This is why certain Honorbuddy users are driven to using DX9 when their systems are DX11-capable. (Believe it or not, sometimes the DX11 driver will work for Honorbuddy, and the DX9 will not.) Driver support for DX9 is obviously going to be more mature than that for DX11. DX11 is going to have the new features, but will not be as complete or stable. When DX12 becomes available, the manufacturer's attention will be spread even thinner, and the situation will probably get worse.

Also, many manufacturers take shortcuts with their drivers that sacrifice a bit of DX9/11/12 compatibility, or eye-candy, to get a few extra frames-per-second for their benchmarks. This compatibility sacrifice to make the benchmarks look good breaks some applications.

So, many Honorbuddy users like yourself are stuck using a DX version they would prefer not to. Basically, if you want to use Honorbuddy, your graphics driver must have certain aspects of the DX9/11 specification covered without che4ting. Obviously, your video driver has done that for the DX9 spec.

If you want to use DX11, you'll have to wait for your driver-provider to provide a completely compliant driver, or hunt for a driver that correctly and fully supports the DX11 specification. There are alternative drivers out there for many of the mainstream video cards--you might give them a look. OmegaDrivers is one such site, and Google may provide others.

On another note...
the WoW forums are full of people complaining about graphics issues with the 5.4 drop. Most of what I'm reading says the 64-bit WoWclient causes graphics issues, so they're forced to use the 32-bit WoWclient. Not sure what to believe, and will have to see what the WoW people finally publish about the issue in future release notes.

cheers,
chinajade
