HB crashes at login

This is the log that I get:

Loading Honorbuddy 2.0.0.3740 settings.
Authenticating..
Gatherbuddy Sessions: 0/0
Honorbuddy Sessions: 1/1
Shared Sessions: 0/0
Error - Endscene hook failed: Could not successfully set up synchronization events.

then it crashes.

I am running Windows XP
WoW is in Windowed mode and D3D9
Also running as admin.

Cant figure this one out.

run wow and hb as admin (right click --> run as admin)

Had the same problem, did all the fixes in a previous post. checked literally everything... I just bought the lifetime too. Though I think i know what my problem is, I don't have a legit windows XP. spent about 3hours and finally concluded maybe that was my issue. So now i pretty much wasted a hundred bucks for something I cannot use. epic fail on my part.

Steps to fix it:

Make sure both HB and WoW are being run as admin. (Vista/Win7)
Make sure WoW is fully logged in game, and NOT minimized, or full-screen.
Make sure WoW is running in DirectX 9 mode. (See the release thread on how to check, and change this setting)
Make sure anti-virus, or firewalls are disabled. (Disable them to see if they are the cause, if they are not, leave them on.) - Honorbuddy contains no viruses or malicious code, assuming you've gotten your copy directly from our site.

Had the same issue, downloaded the latest HB and it works fine.

gonna try and reinstall the Net 3.5 SP1 and see if maybe it'll work then, this is the only other thing I can think of, other then maybe it's because my windows isn't legit like I stated, i can't do the automatic updates for it, otherwise it'll flag as not authentic
