I'm not rightly sure how to title the thread, so sorry for that..

Anyway my issue/question is this:

When I open WoW with the Honorbuddy.Launcher.exe and click login it will work fine and dandy all day no problem

however, if I do the same method, but then later on want to use a different combat routine (say for a different spec or character) I have to completely close out of WoW and Honorbuddy and restart it for Honorbuddy to work again--I'll give an example to try to have this make more sense

run Honorbuddy.Launcher.exe, WoW loads in, go into game as chosen character
click Login
Honorbuddy attaches and asks which routine to use and I select one
Decide to switch to a new character, so I stop Honorbuddy, close it, and log out of the original character
log in as a new character, run Honorbuddy.exe
.....and then it hangs

It won't reattach to WoW or something (which it used to do with no issue)

I'm not sure how I would show you a log of this; I know how to post them (I've seen the thread How To: Attach your HB-DB log file [with pictures]) just not sure how to post a log of what happens between switching things with a single active WoW open

Sorry if this would be a simple fix and is entirely user error

I feel like that is your auto response to any and every thread before you read through it lol

Like I said, I know how to paste a log I just don't know how to display my issue in a log file

then if you know how to post a log file, next time make sure its the first think you did while opening a support thread

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip
run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

The reason there was no log was because I don't believe it displays the particular issue since HB runs fine the first time (and any consecutive time after that so long as you completely close out WoW) just not if you leave WoW open and try to restart HB

Anyway, I'll do that all later on today after my raid

make sure you update and try the latest version of honorbuddy before uploading a log and only upload a new log if the issue persists.
