HB BG's & Minimizing Questions (:

Hey, got 2 questions

1. I know there's alot of threads about this but I can never get a clear answer, is RANDOM BATTLE GROUND pvp STABLE ? Theres so many different threads and different answers im very confused, I recently levelled 80 on my priest and trying to do random BG's. It's kind of ok but I find it not entering que sometime or crashing, I'm using today's 1.921 with Ecliptor Priest CC and no custom meshes / profile.

I cant find any random BG meshes so I'm assuming I don't need it? Or am I wrong?

2. I'm wondering can I minimize my game and launch another game? Like css.. as I play css regularly and HoN, But alot of the time when I do, 20minutes into botting and game crashes...

I ran with it on AV weekend, and not a single crash over multiple days of use. If you play the game for more than 20 minutes, without the bot, is it stable? I mean literally try this, because I'm thinking maybe your install of WoW may be to blame. I haven't had a single issue with the bot causing WoW instability. My $.02.
 
1.9.2.1 should be stable with random bg, if its not post your issues in the release thread.

As for #2, minimizing and/or running other directx apps can interfere with the bot's hooking of DirectX for WoW, so we don't support minimizing or running other apps (CSS included).
 
Honorbuddy does not like fullscreen games/applications whilst running. I wouldn't suggest playing another game at the same time as botting tbh.

awww sheeit... well then I guess I'l have to find a seperate machine to bot on, and the next bot problem that comes along for BG il add a log.

Well it didn't take long for first problem, attached log. game crashed

It shows a lot, like his realm, his toons name, tons of great stuff. Someone please remove that for him.

Shit, thanks for that exfelon. Then why does everyone else post wow logs :o

anyway here's the bot ones

also wondering how comes sometimes I check on bot and its in the city with afk penalty :S

EDIT - wow crashed, not the bot hence why I thought you meant the wow log (:

That's Merc kind of money you're talking about.

And I swear I am not trying to derail this thread, but I opened up the log (for no real reason, as I'm not really "technically" helpful) and couldn't get past this line:

Mounting: Swift Pink Hawkstrider

The entries at the end lead me to believe its an issue with the CC... but I've never seen an error like that near the bottom before.

Let me get CNG in here to see if he knows about it or if its related to Ecliptor.
 
Do you know if you got deserter before the crash?
 
The bot keeps getting deserter, and pretty much farms next to no honor, then eventually it will disconnect.

I saw it standing at spirit healer a number of times for a long time, when I give it a nudge and move manually it starts buffing and carrying on as normal, but if im not there it pretty much leaves soon, I came back to look at it and it was running around and jus got leavers.. So I guess it was just "standing" before that.

You can play any game while HB is botting on WoW, as long as you play the game in a windowed mode. If you play it in full screen, Direct3D will stop rendering and HB won't operate correctly.
 
Yeah ok thats fine MaiN, although My bot cant farm any honor because it keep's getting leavers =[ any help on that? i posted log earlier but no reply still

I'm pretty sure the problem of getting deserter is it says "resting" when it spawns from spirit healer, but I dont want it to rest at all. I made sure the settings:

"Rest when mana is below"
"Rest when health is below"

are both set to 0% but it still does it, How do I stop it from resting on full hp when it spawns?
