HB ARCHIVES: Singular--DO NOT DELETE

how come i can only get it to work properly(combat bot) when questing, but when i enter a dungeon or lfr the bot doesnt really do any dmg to the mobs at all, it doesnt cast skills:/

I have the exact same issue with Dungeonbuddy. All my ferals just stands there auto attacking, while the healer and tank are using abilities.

Added a logmark in the when it is in combat.

What Class+Spec are you?: Warlock
What 'context' is the bot in? (Instance, BG, Normal): Questing
What level are you?: 59
Have you made any modifications to Singular?: No
What time (HH:MM:SS) or LogMark did your issue occur? [18:31:01.202 D] [18:31:02.745 D]
What happened (be specific)? Casts Banish(spellID=710) in the middle of DPS rotation when attacking Demon NPC's.
Did you attach a complete debug log? (choose one: YES or YES) No sorry just a normal log this time.
aeus, Thanks for the post and log file. Based upon the data in the logfile, it appears to be working as designed. When the Warlock agros multiple mobs, and one of those mobs is a demon, is not your current target, and is 10 or more yards away from your current target, it will cast Banish. This is the same criteria used by Singular for other classes (Hibernate, Repentance, Hex, Bind Elemental, etc.) I'll be happy to look at another occurrence for you, but you'll want to enable Debug Logging to be sure additional detail is present. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Warlock, Bobby53

Bobby v2223 is the same version number that is in the beta build of HB? I have been using it since that last patch or am I mistaken?
Ruinit, That is correct (and good catch btw.) Tried to capture that in my TLDR release announcement
...
This release has already been available in the HonorBuddy BETA. I encountered issues attempting to attach the .ZIP to the first post while forum issues were occurring. Those have been resolved so am posting to bring the thread back current with HB releases.
...
In general the most recent release will be available in forums first, so long as forum issues don't prevent that. Thanks for the post, -Bobby53

Don't use combat bot, use Lazyraider or Tyreal in LFR. Also singular is mostly for questing there are other CR's out there made more for raiding.
@mios, Thanks for taking the time to post. However, you'll need to provide the information I need to research and respond to your questions. Please see the Reporting Bugs [CLICK HERE] post in the Singular thread which describes what you'll need to include in your post. Thanks and good luck with your toon, Bobby53

@Ruinit, Thanks for taking the time to help a fellow Singular user with a timely answer. The only thing I would disagree is what Singular is intended for. Singular is designed to support all contexts which includes raiding. There are other combat routines that support only raiding and drill down more deeply providing raiding specific support and abilities at the expense of movement, etc, but Singular is intended for use in that context as well as questing, farming, etc. and pairs very well with DungeonBuddy's LFR support. Thanks again for the post and good luck with your Singular usage, Bobby53

Balance Druid, or I guess Druid in general;
Pulls random critters with Typhoon, due to it doing no damage it just aggro's them and then fails to recognize them as targets when they're attacking the player. Then proceeds to spam the "[Singular] Current target invalid. Switching to TargetList mob Emerald Turtle! " until the critters are manually killed off.
Duggle, Thanks for taking the time to post. You'll want to follow the steps in the Reporting Bugs [CLICK HERE] post in the Singular thread when posting about issues you would like me to research. There have been a number of fixes and enhancements to Singular targeting in the last several releases so having a copy of the log file created with the Debug Logging setting at true would be needed. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Druid, Bobby53

Hi Bobby.
I reported some issue couple weeks back, you told me to hold off until the next release, its now been 3-4 releases since, and still no warriors changes :(

Any chance of warriors getting some love ?

Some points in case you've forgot:
Rotation. Higher priority for 2 stacks RB(losing a stack due to being capped is big dps loss...), highest prio for RB(except execute) inside CS window. Never ever let RB stacks fall off.
Incorporate: Skull banner, Demo banner, blood bath, Die by the sword. Triggers on: 1 elite; 50% hp; >3 mobs. SOLO / Questing behaviors.

You also spoke about 'updated cooldown management', have you implemented that yet ?
Cheers :)
toment, Thanks for the post. No, have had some other changes which took a higher priority at the time. Quickly responding to this post, Skull Banner and Blood Bath have been supported for awhile now vs Boss, 3+ mobs, or enemy player. I'll be revising this to a time of death calculation which will also factor in elites, fighting enemies of a much higher level, etc. Thanks for the post and the follow up, Bobby53

wozoki, Thanks for the post with a complete debug log file. The issue the other user encountered had no detail or log file, so the only thing that can be said is they were in a dungeon using a different botbase with an unknown version of HonorBuddy, with an unknown version of Singular, with an undefined set of plugins enabled, configured in a way that may or may not have been affecting their experience, etc. That one effectively did not happen, while with the detail you provided I can clearly see that it did.

It appears the mobs you were attacking reported a hitbox of size 0.0:
Code:
[12:25:12.879 N] [Singular-DEBUG] YourCurrentTarget: changed to: Mindless Horror.3336 h=97.5%, maxh=5808, d=21.2 yds, [COLOR=#b22222][B]box=0.0[/B][/COLOR], player=N, hostile=Y, entry=47137, faction=16, loss=Y, facing=Y, blacklist=N, IsBotPoi=Kill, TargetIndex=1
That would affect determining whether your character is in melee range or not. I will need to look into this further, but wanted to thank you for providing a complete debug log with a logmark to indicate the behavior you saw. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Druid, Bobby53

Ok, using:
/// Revision 2223
/// Date 2013/04/10 16:15:42
/// Range 2217:2223

For these cooldowns, i haven't verified if it triggers on >3mobs:
Skull banner.
Bloodbath

Regardless, in my opinion thats not optimal, atleast not in questing/grinding context where the bot is unable to pull packs of mob and 9/10 times is fighting 1 or 2 mobs.
The cooldowns wont activate and you'll increase the completion/kill time dramatically :(
Even if you consistently would waste 95% duration of any given cooldown, its still infinite more gain than not using them at all.
(I have requested a "pull" functionality in a previous feature request, if you remember;)

It should have the same condition as recklessness/dragon roar = Trigger on entering combat.

However:
Demo banner
rallying cry
die by the sword
As defensive cd's they would be close to useless without the: 1 elite; 50% hp; >3 mobs. condition.
You would also risk them being on cooldown when you actually need them.

The rotation issues currently in fury - titan's grip, specially in regards to how it handles Raging blow, is quite the dps loss :(
I'll be more then happy to provide a complete debug log regarding the rotation if you want :)

Any shamans here having any problems with singular ? as enhc and elemental mostly ? it doing like 30k dps when the bot is turned off i go for around 75k or 80k dps.

Any ETA on a fix? ATM its useless to level up in dungeons, as it takes 30 seconds to kill one mob.
I've tried several other routines but no one really works.

Bobby is there any way you can add a setting that disables singular from using remorseless winter on frost DKS. Ive noticed that the routine will use remorseless when an immune mob like the turtles in tortos from TOT gets close to my character. When that happens the spell is on CD and i cant use it when it is really useful like the bats in tortos. If you cant make the change is there a place in the routines file that i can remark manually to accomplish the same so i can make the best use of remorseless in the raid. Thanks for you efforts in making singular an awesome aoe machine.

wozoki, It sounds like there is an error in the value returned by HonorBuddy. That would make the majority of routines act similarly. I'll add a hack to work around it in the next release and will post it in the next day. -Bobby53

What Class+Spec are you?: Druid (Feral)
What 'context' is the bot in? (Instance, BG, Normal): Dungeonbuddy. Party mode. Personal 5-man team of Druids, 2 of them are Feral.
What level are you?: 75
Have you made any modifications to Singular?: No
What time (HH:MM:SS) or LogMark did your issue occur? [00:06:37.451 N]

What happened (be specific)? My Feral Druids are not using combat abilities consistently. On some trash mobs, they will simply auto-attack even though the energy bar is full and abilities are available. At the time indicated above, the log shows that e=100% during the entire 5 sec encounter, yet no abilities were used. This same issues repeats at [00:06:47.255 N], [00:17:49.038 N] and throughout other points in the log. However there are times (noticeably on boss fights) when the abilities are used as expected. See [00:18:33.789 N] where combat starts with Herald Volajz. This bug is causing severely low DPS on my Feral Druids (<500 DPS @ level 75 vs. aprox. 2,000 DPS for my Balance Druid) and making the dungeon runs take much longer than they should Thanks for checking into this.

Did you attach a complete debug log? (choose one: YES or YES) YES.

I'm leveling a new Char (Warrior). For some odd reason Singular stops a little bit to far away from the mob. Like 7 yards or so. The mob is not in range then and can't be hit with my weapon.
This only happens if charge is not available. Or if a mob is targeted which is to close for charge to be used.

Log File error:
[09:58:04.002 D] [Singular-DEBUG] EnsureMovementStopped: stopping!

Full Log:
Can't upload logs here in the Forum at the moment.

Haggy223, Thanks for the post. Just wanted to follow up a second time that I encountered this issue while researching another report. Thanks for the post and look for a fix for your Warrior in the next release, Bobby53

bobby - no log as i simply chose a different CR as it was gamebreaking bug.

Level 1-X warriors do not close distance, so they stand like 10y away trying to use abilities.

Bobby is the Shaman class in this a replica for ShamWoW?

Also, why not use an svn? If you'r doing all classes i would assume updates would be quite frequent.

LULK, Thanks for taking the time to post! Attaching a log file is your way of indicating how important the issue is to you. When a post mentions that a log file isn't needed, I assume my time spent researching the issue isn't needed either. In this case another user reported and a fix is being uploaded shortly. Thanks again for posting and be sure to see the Reporting Bugs [CLICK HERE] post as a guide if you encounter any issues in the future, -Bobby53

Here is the relevent quote from the Installation Instructions (post #2):

Presently there are two methods supported to install/update Singular:

Standalone .ZIP from this Thread:
1. Download the .ZIP attached to Post #1
2. Delete your existing HonorBuddy\Routines\Singular folder
3. Extract the .ZIP to HonorBuddy\Routines\Singular

With HonorBuddy:
Singular is bundled with HonorBuddy, so installing or updating HonorBuddy will replace the version of Singular you are using. If you download and install a new version of Singular via .ZIP, it will be overwritten by any HonorBuddy install or update you perform, including an automated one.Remember to ALWAYS attach a log file when posting. There are always multiple versions of HonorBuddy, Singular, and other components in existance so a log file is vital to understanding your configuration and how it related to the issue you are writing about.

What about SVN Installation?
Singular will not be distributed via SVN. The intention is to distribute Singular only via HonorBuddy. For the near future, Singular will temporarily also be available via .ZIP. This is to make fixes and updates available to users prior to the next stable release of HonorBuddy being pushed. Singular will eventually stabilize and likely be distributed only via HonorBuddy. However it won't be using SVN for distribution.

So Singular is being distributed additionally via .ZIP as a convenience to users that don't want to wait for the next HonorBuddy release to be pushed. The Warrior issue just cited in the post before is a good example.
