Xom, The description sounds like you have some corruption in one of your Settings files. Create an empty folder and install a fresh copy of HB to that destination (rather than installing on top of or upgrading an existing installation) and it should work. Give that a roll and let me know your results, -Bobby53
Xom, Not sure how Hotkeys factor into this. If you are not receiving an error and it is only autoattacking, will need you to do the following:Hey bobby thanks for replying. I tried it out and still nothing. Hotkeys won't register etc in that combat routine (and singular) it just sits there auto attacking.
Day7, No, that the design goal of Singular is to "just work", meaning to provide the best response (within the bounds of what a Combat Routine is responsible for) in common usage and circumstances ( Solo questing/grinding/farming, General PVP/BGs/Arena, Dugeons, and Raids.) Allowing full customization of the spell priorities is outside the bounds of objectives for this component. You may want to check the store for your class to see if there is another Combat Routine available that provides the options you are looking for.Is there a way to edit the spells it uses? (Such as remove one or two from autocasting)?

Singular supports enabling / disabling auto-cast for Pet Taunts (like Growl), but otherwise does not manipulate spells with auto-cast. If you can you provide some additional details regarding the combat scenario you were trying to improve Singulars behavior in and most why its useful for other members, I'll be happy to look at adding some form of support for that in Singular (the abilities you are mentioning, not generalized spell priority manipulation.) Thanks for the post, Bobby53
Xom, Not sure how Hotkeys factor into this. If you are not receiving an error and it is only autoattacking, will need you to do the following:
- Shutdown and Restart Windows
- Startup and login game
- Run HonorBuddy (but dont click Start)
- Click Class Config
- Click Debugging tab
- Check Trace Behavior calls, then Save & Close
- Click Start
- (while running) Click Class Config
# Now within game, initiate combat and let run for a few seconds
- Click LOGMARK once (in visible Class Config window.)
- Uncheck Trace Behaviors
- Click Save & Close
- Click Stop in HonorBuddy
# Now post again and attach the new log just created
These steps are 'very' literal. Please follow step by step to provide additional detail for looking into this issue.
Thanks,
-Bobby53
My mage is having some major issues since I updated to the most recent Singular version. Sometimes it's just not doing anything at all. I'll attach the log View attachment 162505

Day7, So what sounds like a better idea than disabling Barrage, is to add logic to the Barrage cast which ensures that if it would hit mobs you (or your group) are not already in combat with then it won't cast. Thanks for taking the time to explain that as the result will be yet another improvement on the "it just works" objective. Appreciate the post and the followup and good luck with your Hunter, -Bobby53Well my Hunter actually has better dps with this than Tuanha stuff, I just wanted to disable auto use of barrage because it sort of has this terrible habit of pulling anything in sight because of it's mildly broken range, is all
edit: a good example is if I was running grimrail depot, and we initiate a fight with just two mobs in the beginning of a train car, when this uses it's rotation it will barrage which (due to barrage's super range) will also pull the rest of the car and possibly cause a wipe lol

I see this in your log file:
*** Bartender4: ENABLED ***PROBLEMATICAL*** ADDON
*** ElvUI: ENABLED ***PROBLEMATICAL*** ADDON
I'm not an expert, but it looks like it is throwing an error while casting a pet attack. Can you verify your pet is out before you start and then close and re-open Honorbuddy? See if it fixes it?
Thank you all for taking the time to post and even more importantly posting with Logs! There is an exception occurring due to a bug I introduced in Pet management logging which is interrupting the normal execution of your toons and resulting in the behavior. A fix will be uploaded shortly, -Bobby53Same issue today with hunter. On aggro or pull it throws Misdirection and then sits there. Log without ElvUI (usually not an issue) attached.
No problem, this is pretty much my go to combat routine for like 90% of all classes so I like to not have to switchDay7, So what sounds like a better idea than disabling Barrage, is to add logic to the Barrage cast which ensures that if it would hit mobs you (or your group) are not already in combat with then it won't cast.
