HB ARCHIVES: Processed Issues from Honorbuddy Release threads

"(InbagCount(93608) + InbagCount(93607)) < 1" checks the seller sold items in PB

- InBagCount will now account for items in personal and reagent bank (HB-1378)

This change has totally fucked up alot of profiles, whats the point of merging InBankCount with InBagCount ?!?! This is causing so much chaos please tell me how to undo this change.

There is no PB folder? for some reason they dont want you to be able to edit or revert changes to PB.
 
it is more of a convenience thing, PB gets shipped with hb so that you don't have to use svn any more
 
broken release.
found ~10 characters or so that are doing their job in Pandaria every day for months just fine in Kalimdor/Kingdoms dying to fatigue.
751 had same issue in lesser degree.
753 was good.

InbagCount (uint ItemID)
Returns the number of items the player has in the bags that match ItemID

InBankCount (uint ItemID)
Returns the number of items the player has in personal bank that match ItemID.

These are now the same thing, why was this done? I have no "reagent" bags in my bank and it still returns all bank items as in my bags. Is this intended?!? Can I just get an answer to that question please? so i can know if i need to redo my whole profile or not :( thanks

I'm not exactly sure but I think in this version the detection of lava is broken.
I'm leveling a new toon and in searing gorge he always walks through the lava and dies.
Then he ressurects in the lava and trys to eat while still in the lava.
Currently I can't post logs, I can post some in the evening.
Just curious if somebody else got this problem.

I have tried it with multiple characters, clean cache, fresh reinstall etc. It happens on all characters I tried.

It sounds like you are referring to our response here. The senior staff member's response to HB-1306 was given here.

The staff member actually identified Spyware installed on your system. This spyware must be removed. We strongly believe he is correct, as you are the only one experiencing this problem.

But, you should go work this problem in the Support forum, as this is clearly a problem with your installation, and not an Honorbuddy bug. If you do open a Support forum thread, they will need both your Honorbuddy log, and the WoWclient crash log from the same event.

HB-1306 was not created in response to any report I made, it existed before I made my initial report, references 'rlls.dll' which is not present on my system and mentions BSoDs, which is not something I am seeing. No HB staff member could have identified spyware on my system as I have never sent you a WoW client crash log (as this crash is not generating one) or anything else from my system that would allow you to identify spyware on my system. So I strongly disagree with the statement 'The staff member actually identified Spyware installed on your system' as that is not possible.

I regularly scan my system for virus, spyware and malware. When your response to my first report of this issue referenced HB-1306 as possibly related, I ran several scans using different software in case my normal ones missed something. None have reported finding anything on my system.

This may in fact be a case where there is something odd with my system, but I do not think it is likely:

1. SwitchCharacter worked fine for me previously, until the function was broken and ceased to function at all some time prior to the release of the 6.x WoW client release.
2. When SwitchCharacter was fixed post 6.x, the new sporadic crash behavior began.
3. I only experience a WoW client crash when the SwitchCharacter method is called.
4. Crash behavior happens in a number of HB installations, old ones updated to latest version, and complete fresh installs.
5. Crash behavior happens on my system as well as a few virtual machines - completely separate OS, HB and WoW installs.

Again, if there is anything I can do - other than scan yet again for spyware or send a WoW client crash report as one isn't being generated - please let me know and I will be happy to do it.

There is a strange conduct on the behavior with the last build.
