Hey man, I just started playing wow again, after switching servers decided not to spend the money for a faction change ect but instead that Id level a character from scratch, problem is for some reason the bot tries to turn in a quest immediately after picking it up. I have your quest behaviors and Im using the dk starting area quest profile, Ive used it before and it worked pretty well with almost no issues but now it seems like its not working at all, Ive attached a log (its not very long as it literally just sits there trying to turn in an incomplete quest). Any help would be great thanks.

It looks like your Honorbuddy installation is damaged, and you need to do a 'clean install'. You can find the step-by-step for succeeding with the task, here:

Normally i do provide a log but I accently deleted it, sry.
But while watchin HB doin the quest I noticed that the profile makes the char step back from the civilian after talking to him and mount up in the hut. that makes im stuck in the doorframe and ends up in log out of the game. or maybe my tauren is just too big
Dont think its a navi issue coz the char wud never fit thru the door, no matter where.

@Kick,
Can you take a look at this, and maybe make some mesh adjustments for the hut. Or, maybe we just band-aid it with a ctm after the turn in. It looks to be line ~2882 of Kun-Lai profile.

Please attach the full log that demonstrates the problem. With the full log, we can usually figure out the issue, no matter the language.

whenever loding profile and start it says : honorbuddy stopped error loading quest behavior
tried downloading new HB + updated kicks profiles by svn and the same ?
iam at work so couldnt attach a log
just need some idea whats wrong ?

From your problem description, it sounds like your Honorbuddy installation is corrupt, and you need to do a 'clean install'. The step-by-step for success in accomplishing that is here:

Questing won't work in Dustwallow Marsh

My bot was trying to go to Dustwallow Marsh Brackenwall Village via flying, and since the auto-flight paths were removed, it won't work. So instead, I got a person to fly me there via 2 person mount. I got there and ran the bot, but it still won't do anything but sit there.

Hey kick, I don't know what u changed mate but your profiles from 80-85 so far are really messed up.
I am leveling 5 toons and every 10 mins u need to interact with them cause the get stuck ALL THE TIME.
Is it a profile issue?
Is it HB?
What ever it is, they are FUBAR.

I am not even gonna post logs, almost every single quest creates a problem with pathing, targeting, handing in quests etc.

I leveled so far about 40 toons with ur profiles, this is the first time i see so many problems mate.

I really hope you fix it.

Your problems stem from the fact that Honorbuddy is unable to download meshes. It looks like your mesh directory might have the wrong privileges.

Let's try this:

• Completely delete your mesh directory here:
  
  [19:14:17.414 D] MeshesFolderPath: C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\HonorbuddyMeshes​
  
  
• Make certain both the WoWclient and Honorbuddy are running with Windoze admin privileges.

If that doesn't work, please show us a fresh log.

If you want help, you simply must post a log.

Dna9418's issues have been install and cache related so far, and absolutely nothing to do with the profile. Please quit spreading mis-information.

I am by no means saying the profiles are perfect. But, a good 90%+ of problems people attribute to the profiles are of their own making, or lie elsewhere.

We help a lot of people in this thread that we really should bounce to the Support forum. But, we prefer to help you solve your problems as quickly as possible rather than give you the run-around.

Please don't make the mistake of thinking because we were willing to help you, your problem was profile related. The vast majority of the time, the help we offer isn't due to profile-related issues.

I think I have got it to work now, even though it takes like 5-10 secs to do Quest Pick-up or Quest Turn in. Also it attacks any killable things along the path.

China mate, clearing all 3 caches every 5 mins is really not an option.
They keep getting stuck.
I always use kick profile, am not bashing him, the problems i had before were minor, now u cant even go afk for 5 mins.
They keep messing up.
It might be tiles or profile, it doesnt really makes a difference.
Bottom line is the profiles are messed up.
Even at level 5 they keep messing up in the elevators in orgrimmar and thunderbluff.
The log just says moving to take flight path all day long.
Its 90% pathing issues

You make my points for me. These are NOT profile issues:

• "They keep getting stuck."
• "Clearing all 3 caches"
  (There are four caches to clear, btw).
• "Even at level 5 they keep messing up in the elevators in orgrimmar and thunderbluff."
• "Moving to take flight path all day long."

You should report these to the proper places--the Navigation thread, the Honorbuddy bug report thread, or the Support forum. (And, each of those places will need a log to see what precisely, the problem is.)

These are not profile issues, and absolutely nothing the profile can do about them.

And this... "Bottom line is the profiles are messed up." is a position of ignorance (no offense). You are not addressing the root causes of the problem and continue to blame the profile, and that's why you continue to have the problem.

Hello again, i got the bot to work after reinstalling. But.. i used it on my lvl 34 priest without any quests. The bot ran to the flight master and just stood there like he was trying to fly something. Then i flew manually to stranglethorn vale. I took some quests then the bot starts running out to do the quests but when he is going to attack he just stand there in range to cast spells but he do not cast any spells. I have put in shadow priest in plugins. I have no idea whats wrong :S.


Now it just ran to the nearest flight master/path and just stand their with the flight path menu open :S

It sounds like you've got a cache corruption issue or your Combat Routine may be having issues, but no way for us to determine anything without a log.
