Hi! big fan of the leveling profiles, have been using it for several weeks.. months even.. but today my 89 Paladin suddenly stopped after entering Townlong steppes, the bot states that its compilling the different "zones" and goes on as if they were complete, when the fact is, it only complete one quest.. it rides down to pickup "My Father's Crossbow" at Niuzao Temple, but the quest isnt there.. Im Manually ground questing dreadwastes either way, but thought id better let people know.. and maybe there is a fix needed :D

Currently Using BotBase : Questing
Changing current profile to [A - Quest] 1-12 Auto-Loader [Kick] ($Rev: 2184 $)
The type initializer for 'Styx.WoWInternals.QuestLog' threw an exception.
Bot Stopped! Reason: The type initializer for 'Styx.WoWInternals.QuestLog' threw an exception.
What do i do to fix this??
 
In your Alliance BC 58-70 Profile is a CheckPoint commented out.

It is the one for lvl 64.

Any Reason behind this or a little mistake?

I am not sure whether it has to do with your profile or if it's a HB problem.

2. When he has to kill the guys riding the wofls he kills the guy on the wolf but he doesn't attack the wolfs... After killing the guy he just stands there and heals himself...

Neither problem you describe is an issue with the profile.

It looks like Honorbuddy or Singular is stuck trying to attack a dead target. I can't tell why this happened for you. Just help the bot through this quest, or if you want to chase it, please make a post to the Support forum.

As with almost every offering in the profile forum., the instructions for how to use the profile pack are contained in the first post. There is also a README file available in the second post with more detailed instructions, should you need them.

Once you get the profiles correctly downloaded, don't forget to copy the quest behaviors. Those instructions are here, if you've never done it:

For a DK, the starting profile is at this relative location in Kick's profile pack:

Nae, the MoP profiles work very well. There is something wrong with your installation.

If you would like help, you must attach the full log that demonstrates the problem. Also, tell us what you are immediately observing this is represented by the log.

You have failed to copy the quest behaviors provided by Kick's profile pack into the Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors/ directory.

Hi, TehPandaBlue,

What you are describing is not a problem with the profile.

Please make your request to the Support forum. Over there, as here, they require a full log that demonstrates the problem in order for an analysis to be conducted.

Hi, Buzzerbeater,

Kick will have to answer this one, since he made the decision (long ago). Checkpoints cause a *lot* of problems for various reasons. You might find this article informative, as it discusses some of the issues:

Its pretty much guaranteed that the further you go into expansions (e.g., LK -> MoP), Checkpoints are going to go away completely.

Hi!

For the past week or so I've been having a problem that makes Kick's profiles unusable for me. I've tried clean installs of Honorbuddy and of Kick's profiles, but it doesn't seem to help, and the problem is now affecting almost every one of my toons. When I turn on the profile, the toon just stands there while Honorbuddy spams Moving to Type: QuestPickUp at me. Am I doing something wrong? The profiles worked fine for me before this, and I made sure to copy the Quest Behaviours folder over.

If you will update Kick's repository (v2245), it should contain InteractWith v419 that eliminates the problem of reporting unexpected frames when interacting with quest givers.

Hi, Copasetic, and thanks for the log!

You've got two problems, neither of which is a problem with the profile. The first is this:

[19:10:29.281 N] Compiler Error: c:\Program Files\Honorbuddy\Bots\Kick's Profiles\Kick's Profiles\1-90 Questing Profile Pack\Holiday\Noblegarden\NobleGardenerAchievement.cs(18,18) : error CS0101: The namespace 'NobleGardenerAchievement' already contains a definition for 'NobleGardenerAchievement'​

Only Bots belong in the Honorbuddy/Bots/ directory--nothing else. Profiles are not bots. And, where you've placed the profiles confuses Honorbuddy.

To remedy...
move Kick's Profiles out of the Honorbuddy/Bots/ directory to some place like C:/Kick's Profiles.


Your second problem is this:

[H - Quest] 1-12 Auto-Loader [Kick] and [H - Quest] 12-58 K-EK [Kick] Tauron Druid lvl 45. last week he tryed to goto Eastern Kingdom and quest and was just standing still, now i try again and this time he goes to Felwood.
he is going to Feronas sindweller and open and closes there is no Quest.
i del. kicks folder so all is brandnew.

Your log shows signs of cache corruption, which is not a profile issue. You can find the remedy here:

Empire?

Fly you guy out to the area with the quests. It will pick-up from there. It's not taking the transport to the location, and just dying over and over trying to get there on foot (at least, this is what I saw).
