HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

I'm not too sure if HB is suppose to use a ground mount from 85-90 but it's been running on foot the entire time. Is there any way to get my guy to use a ground mount? It's checked in the settings and everything already and i've tried restarting it several times but to no avail.

the log says that the quest is over, but it is not started, it is in my book quest but it is zero "what kind of name is candy, anyway??"

Hi again, Clarkgaybeul,

I'm sorry clearing the caches is not resolving your problem--its the only remedy I know for this issue. You should make a post in the Support forum, and see if another of the Staff has other ideas to try.

The issue is not profile-related, its cache or HBcore at fault.

Read through this article and see if it will help resolve your problem:

If not, please follow up to the Support forum with your log, as your issue is not profile-related.

learn a flying mount on that toon, other than flight form

i rarely update from my svn, but I do commit quite often. Now if I am doing something like coding - I always update before touching *anything*. It's a good habit to learn... especially when there are issues with something

Why don't you take the remedy offered, instead of arguing about it with faulty knowledge.

Hello. Where can I find "specific quests" files (my folder contains only 1 file: PandaStarter) because everytime when my bot is trying to do specific quest it just stops working with error in log that there isn't needed specific quests file in my folder ? sry for english :p
 
Hello, I've been using your profiles a whole lot. Thank you very very much just got a toon to 90 using it :). I have however encountered an issue, I attached the log (hopefully did that right). The issue I'm having is that my lvl 35 character keeps returning to Crossroads and proceeds to continuously speak to "Sergra Darkthron" A lvl 60 npc whom does not have any quests. He will target her then de-target her like the bot is trying to pick up a quest even though there actually is no more quest's available from this npc and regardless of that fact crossroads is much to low of a zone for my lvl 35 to be attempting to quest in anymore. Hopefully the log helps and this being brought to your attention is needed and not an error on my part! If so please let me know what I should do. Anyways thank you again for the time and work you have put into these profiles! **Edit: I would also like to note that the profile had taken my character to descolace and actually completed a good number of quests before returning to crossroads for whatever reason lol.**

This one is actually hilarious. My character is level 50, however when I load kick's profiles 1-58 K-EK it automatically compiles the quests for N barrens and begins to beat the hell out of level 14 lions. I mean it sucks because I'm going to work and I wanted to be level 58 by my lunch break so I could BG grind, but instead the bot is deciding it has insecure fatpanda syndrome and is taking its anger out on defenseless little kittens. I was wondering why I was two shotting everything and why I could touch of death anything as soon as the fight began. This is very odd. A fresh HB install might fix it, but I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else had this issue and I don't have time for a fresh install. Log attached.

as noted above since the last couple svn updates (since yesterday), horde leveling is no longer usable since it simply heads to crossroads and attempts to pick up some level 13 quests that's already completed. luckily i had an older build in a folder which still works

Hi, Ticky, and Starl1te,

The problem is actually simple, but will require a minor edit to the profile. Open the [H - Quest] 12-58 K-EK [Kick].xml profile, and look for a line that looks like this (about line 1750):
<QuestOrder IgnoreCheckPoints="True" >​

and change it to this:
<QuestOrder IgnoreCheckPoints="False" >​

It should "skip to the level 50" content after you do this.

We are working very hard to smooth out some rough edges on the Horde side, and it will probably be like this until we get done, then will switch it back.
