HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

Not open for further replies.
The last update to the Quest Behaviors fixed a lot of issues i've been having!
Or it could just be that 85-90 is a lot smoother =)
First toon to ding 90 and 7 others have been going strong without a stuck for the past 5 hours!
Only had to interfere with the bot at "Students No More", where it failed often at the Incubator (not attacking the eggs) and a few times it couldn't find the Students. Also, it would follow the students and stick to them instead of attacking the mobs. Goes back into the fight once i start attacking manually.

Getting a log would be really hard, so i'm sorry about that!

Every time i level up new toons the questing goes much smoother! =)

Edit: Also, At the quest "Enemies at Our Door", after killing the Gurubashi Bloodriders , it would get stuck on the way to quest delivery due to an obstacle. as well as when killing the Amani Behemoth.

Soo i tried what you said. Even restarted my pc. It still says "moving to waypoint (hunting ground center)" and then runs to orgrimmar. Heres another log.

Hi again, Shobsteezz, and thanks for the log.

But this log is showing us that you are still not using the correct version of InteractWith. Please try again.

You must update from the Subversion repository--not that crufty .Zip file. Perhaps, that is where you are making your mistake. If you are using Subversion, perhaps you just need to blow away the entire local copy of Kick's repository, and redownload the whole thing--it only takes a few seconds.

cheers,

Hi, Shobsteezz,

From your latest log:
[02:17:52.328 D] Goal: Interacting with

This is an old version of InteractWith--the new version's messages are formatted differently (and they fill in the "with" part).

I'm not going to tell you how to setup Subversion, and get it linked to Kick's repository. There's plenty of references in the first post, and the README file download for that. But the last step after you update to v2212 or later is to copy the entire contents of Kick's Profiles/1-90 Questing Profile Pack/Quest Behaviors/ directory to Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors/ directory.

Perhaps, you've mistakenly created a Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors/Quest Behaviors/ directory.

Something you're doing to update is not correct, and I don't know what it is. I don't know how to explain it any better. But I can tell you, your copy of InteractWith is not up-to-date.

anybody out there?
Please do not bump threads. We answer things as we can get to them. A forum is not IM.

cheers,
chinajade

Quest: Surrender... Not!
Area: Borean Tundra
Problem: for me well at least it doesn't go inside the cave once the bot has put on the merloc suit, he constants runs about outside it. Had to stop the bot, and carry it on my self, things are fine once exiting the cave.

Trouble in Candyland

Context:
Need to kill Felendren for Felendren the Banished at the top of a tower on Sunstrider Isle. The top of the tower appears to be unmeshed causing the toon to get lots of exercise walking up and down the ramps.

Location:
<Hotspot X="10150.28" Y="-6004.147" Z="110.1532" /> (center of platform)

not a mesh issue

Hi, Creation85, and thank you much for the logs.

From both logs, we see a lot of this...

[10:48:23.875 N] Moving to Type: QuestTurnIn
[10:48:24.162 D] False
[10:48:24.163 N] Moving to Type: QuestTurnIn
[10:48:24.482 D] False
[10:48:24.483 N] Moving to Type: QuestTurnIn

...<continues>...

Basically, you have a plugin that is interfering with proper operation of the profile. However, there is not enough information in the log to tell which plugin is the culprit.

cheers,
chinajade

I am using
Anti Drown, AutoEquip2, DrinkPotions, EpicJunkBox, LogMeOut, MrItemRemover2, ProfileHelper, Questhelper - ItemForAura, Refreshment Detection, Talented2 and Tidy Bags

Might be false thinking, but would try to disable all the once that don't come with Kick's profile. Would namely be EpicJunkBox, LogMeOut, MrItemRemover2 & Tidy Bags.

At least think it is worth a try to disable them and reenable one by one.

Hi again, Creation85,

Yes, these are the ones I saw working from your log:
[10:04:03.516 N] EnabledPlugins:
[10:04:03.516 D] Anti Drown
[10:04:03.516 D] AutoEquip2
[10:04:03.516 D] Azenius
[10:04:03.516 D] DrinkPotions
[10:04:03.516 D] EpicJunkbox
[10:04:03.516 D] LogMeOut!
[10:04:03.516 D] Mr.ItemRemover2
[10:04:03.516 D] ProfileHelper
[10:04:03.516 D] Questhelper - ItemForAura
[10:04:03.516 D] Refreshment Detection
[10:04:03.516 D] Talented2
[10:04:03.516 D] Tidy Bags 3.6 Reloaded

And these plugins want to run, but are seriously broken:
[10:04:08.001 N] Compiler Error: c:\Users\***\Downloads\HonorbuddyBETA 2.5.6895.180\Plugins\Glue\OrphanCaster.cs(14,16) : error CS0234: The type or namespace name 'Logic' does not exist in the namespace 'Styx' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
...
[10:04:10.803 N] Compiler Error: c:\Users\***\Downloads\HonorbuddyBETA 2.5.6895.180\Plugins\MultiMountRepair\MultiMountRepair\MultiMountRepair Yak\YakRepair.cs(24,18) : error CS0101: The namespace 'RepairAnywhere' already contains a definition for 'RepairAnywhere'

...<several more messages of this variety>...

This looks like your Combat Routine, and its also broken:
[10:04:19.535 N] Compiler Error: c:\Users\***\Downloads\HonorbuddyBETA 2.5.6895.180\Routines\Guardian\Guardian\Helpers\Common.cs(36,18) : error CS0103: The name 'HasSpell' does not exist in the current context
...<lots more of these>...

And this is something you've got installed that is interfering with the profile execution and/or HBcore:
[10:08:06.460 N] Moving to Type: QuestPickUp
[10:08:06.692 D] False
[10:08:06.693 N] Moving to Type: QuestPickUp
[10:08:06.892 D] False
[10:08:06.893 N] Moving to Type: QuestPickUp

...<repeats indefinitely>...

To be honest, its amazing the profile works at all with all this broken stuff installed. What you are experiencing is most definitely not a profile problem--you should really be posting in the Support forum for help getting your Honorbuddy working.

Let's do a fresh install of Honorbuddy (new directory, install no additional addons or Combat Routines, copy nothing from your previous installation).

If that doesn't clean up your problem, please toss a new log.

cheers,
chinajade

I followed all of the instructions exactly. And updated using tortoise svn. (repeated like 3 times lol) How is it still out of date and getting the same error?

Hi again, Shobstezz,

If you open up InteractWith.cs with notepad, you should see a line that looks like this:
public override string SubversionId { get { return ("$Id: InteractWith.cs 385 2013-03-30 02:38:56Z chinajade $"); } }

Please show me what yours says.

cheers,

Here it is. Thanks for not giving up on me.

Hi again, Shobsteezz,

Well, its the right version for certain.
But, this version of InteractWith does not display messages of the form:
[04:48:02.937 D] Goal: Interacting with

This version prints messages of the form:
[02:24:52.583 D] Goal: InteractWith: ""The Wakening""
or
[02:24:46.411 D] Goal: InteractWith: "In Progress (no associated quest)"

Not only did I determine this by code inspection, but by running a test profile.

Are you sure its the right log?
Do you have multiple installations of Honorbuddy, and maybe patching one, and running the other?
Are you launching Honorbuddy via a Windoze shortcut, or directly launching the executable out of the Honrobuddy directory? (I.e., your shortcut could be pointing to another unpatched installation).

Something is fundamentally wrong, as your log does not agree with the code.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Shobsteezz,

Then we're at an impasse, and I'm sorry. The log simply doesn't match the code, and I've no way to chase it further on my end.

Hi,

Here are some more bug reports.

1. During the quest Enemies At Our Door, the bot simply waits at the door of the house. When there's no other people doing the quest, the mobs do not spawn unless you approach the location. The location the bot waits is too far away from the quest designated spot. Basically this creates a stuck that took forever.
2. Also at the same spot, the bot randomly get stuck at waypoints underneath the house/ladder.
3. During the process to hand in To Winter's Blossom, the bot does not use a mount. The distance between the quest giver and the specified location is pretty far.
4. Upon doing the quest "Turning in to the Wall", the bot does not speak to Kite Master Len to fly up to the wall. Instead, what the bot did was moved towards the wall (full of yaungol mobs) and attack them. It died twice during the process, at the same time, it attempted to climb the wall. Intervention was required.

Hi, Tomasd,

Thanks for pointing this out. The end of the Townlong Steppes profile provides a grind area that is supposed to guarantee you're level 90 before entering the Dread Wastes.

Alas, it had a minor bug (now fixed) that it was guaranteeing level 89 instead of 90.

So, if you will update the profile pack (v2212), load the Townlong Steppes profile, and restart Honorbuddy, it should behave as it was intended.

Thanks for finding this issue!
chinajade

Actually, it is still bugged. Line 1465 says if Me.Level < 89, meaning it won't start grinding on lvl 89.
