Kick, there is alot of places the bot got stuck in 1-58 Alliance. Should i send a screenshot where? although i need to make a new character for finding them again.

Just edit in this. How long do you guys have this bot on? i use to have it quest 10-12 hours is this normal? should i bot less?

Hi,

I've been having some issues with the dailies lately. Whenever I start the Golden Lotus or Klaxxi dailies (these are the only two I do actually) I get the following message:

WARNING: Previously completed quests detected!

Either you have done some of you quests already, and have restarted the bot...
OR your cache folder is NOT clean, and must be deleted, and bot restarted.


I then get two options
1) stop the bot
2) continue the profile

Stopping the bots has its obvious consequences, however continueing the profile often causes strange behaviours.
possible behaviours:
a) The bot works perfectly fine after continueing (happened only once or twice)
b) The bot tells me I need te be revvered with the golden lotus for these quests (happened only once or twice)
c) The bot acts as if he goes to the quest, actually might solve one or a half one, but then I get the same warning again (or message b). Whenever I press continue now, he either repeats step c or flies to the golden padoga and stops there. It's also possible he stops right where he is.

Things I have tried, tested over several days, without any effect:
- Do all the dailies myself, let the bot run next day.
- Clean out the cache folder.
- Delete all my quests at the start of a new day (so without doing any dailies).

Has anyone been experiencing the same problem and what did you do about it?

This pop up occurs whenever my profile has detected that one or more quests for the section you are starting are completed. Either because you have done some already and started it midway thru a run, or because it is still detecting yesterday's quests as completed. If its detecting already completed quests, it will skip quests it senses are already done.

To fix this issue, you must delete the HB/Cache folder daily. If this does not remedy the issue, install HB to a new folder to test a virgin copy. If neither work you can post a log here an I can troubleshoot your issue.

What is the problem if the bot says "Moving to Type: Fly, R: Update" and then just stands there until he gets dced? It happend now after that i just finished a questing area.

This happend after i was in redridge mountains. And he was moving to get a mount. But he standed there for some time and then i moved him myself and bought the mount skill. And then i tryed to start him again and then same problem appered. And then i moved him to a questing area (duskwood) and now he has the same problem again. Iam level 22 and i have all my settings put up as origional when you start honorbuddy except the autoequip and some other plugins.

I will try to attach a log, my first time doing it!

Hi, Nexmordria,

Any "stuck issues" should be reported to the Navigation thread. Over there, they will need both the location of the problem (usually a map screenshot & coordinates), and a picture of 'how' you are getting stuck ('large toon', 'large mount', 'direction of approach', 'seasonal decoration', etc).

As far as number of hours botting, that's an issue of risk tolerance that each person has to decide for himself. There are many, many opinions about this already in the forums. Give it a search and read, and decide where your risk tolerance lies in the spectrum of opinions.

unfortunately clear the cache in all indicated directories has not help. The bot tries still to pick up a quest from general nazgrim.

Could it help to delete all quest from kun lai summit in the questlog? Or did you have another idea??

Turn off AutoEquip 2 hasn?t any effect.!

We'll need to see a fresh log to see if the failure mode has changed or altered.

Also, we didn't ask you to turn off AutoEquip2, but gave you the instructions to configuring it properly. You might want to go revisit those instructions. If AutoEquip2 is not properly configuring a weapon as you level up, you are going to wind up dying a lot more than you should.

is it checking for the quest where you need the 5 shards (the one which you can do as often as you like per day) for completed quests? (just a guessing).

i got that problem to even if i haven?t done klaxxi dailys for some days on this charakter and i cleaned the cache folder before i started hb.

Yes dread amber shards turnins are supported. You must have more than 5 in though. I set it up so at least 1 remains in inventory. (Some people like to organize).

As fr as the issue with the cache verification, I can confirm on my characters that with a fresh install (I use quiksmage's copy paste routine listed on post 1) it runs without the starting pop up. If you have an issue on a virgin copy of HB then please submit a log file of it happening.

Edit: I misread your post. No, the amber shards is not checked for under cache verification. It is not an actual pickup/turnin quest, so no it was not tracked.

I have the Problem, that the bot is picking up the Klaxxi Quests, then it flies to the hotspots, mount down and up again and goes to the next hot spot without doing any quest... after all it goes back to Questgiver and starts the next Part.

Please follow these instructions if you are getting the "Previously completed quests detected" popup.

bot can definitly not handle golden lotus phase 1 if u have to kill the 3 elite serpants

In enemy hands is one that requires a good deal of testing, feedback, code changes, more testing, more feedback, a Mountain Dew break, more coding, then success. Kinda like Hard as a Rock did before it finally worked.

"It doesn't work" helps us with no forward progress. Especially with the serpents. I need to know:
Did the bot attempt to move to the serpents?
Did the bot avoid the pools?
How did you die? Was it from combat or bot ignoring surroundings?
Was the bot getting stuck in places?
Did it pull the serpents at all?

I'm working on a fix to in enemy hands (and other mind control quests) for casters to dispel the debuff before pulling, effectively saving them. Needs 2 Mountain Dew breaks for that one and a little help:
I'm a DK and a Shaman. What spells do other classes primarily use to dispel magic effects on allies? Priests? Droods? Need some help, feel free to pm me.

AutoEquip2 had I turn off to look if the bot works then. Now I have turn it on again.

Is it possible that there is a quest in valley of the four winds which is need for the quest in kun lai from nazgrim what I dont make?! Because the phasing in Ostwindruhst?tte is not completed. There is only one quest which is in another sector from kun lai.

Omg 5.2? I'm still trying to finish 5.1. 5.1 isn't even meshed properly yet, which made it that much more fun to do. I can say this:
No, I will not be heading to PTR to test this out before release. I have a few projects I'm working on and am trying to keep everything live updated.
Yes, I will get to work on it as soon as I can after it goes live, but it will take a few days to get HB 5.2 ready (if its anything like 5.1 release) which should give me time to get some framework, waypoints and logic plotted out.

When I try to load GL PreReq it just stands where ever I am when I started it and says "Waiting on Object to Spawn". I have been using honorbuddy for over 2 years so I am sure it is an error w the script.
