So basicly I open HB, select questiong bot, load the 85-86 profile for jade forest and run it and the only thing that happens is that the HB window goes grey and nothing happens in-game. There is no errors in theHB log or anything. (I copied all the behaviors into my quest behaviors folder)

This is the third time we've tried to get you to post your log.
From now on, we're deleting any post you make here unless a log is attached.
We've given you plenty of opportunity.

Are you just posting without reading responses? Your complaints without a log are just noise.

Hi, Muffmann, and thanks for the log.

The first post of this thread indicates that Kick provides behaviors that must be copied to the Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors/ directory. Most quest profile writers have to provide such behaviors. Do this, and you should be off-and-away.

A couple of other issues you might want to clean up:

  • Your ProfileHelper plugin has got heartburn.
    You need to delete the Honorbuddy/Plugins/ProfileHelper/ directory to clear the problem. I'm not sure that plugin is even needed any more, but if so you need to find a more up-to-date (working) copy of it.

  • The Azenius plugin is also throwing a lot, and several types, of exceptions.
    I'd also delete the Honorbuddy/Plugins/Azenius/ directory to clear the problem. If you still need that plugin, go find an up-to-date (working) copy of it.
Malfunctioning plugins can seriously interfere with proper quest operation, and you should get them cleaned up.

Has anyone noticed a pathing issue in the tillers quest with the new carts in front of the quest giver section, carts are located when pathing from the farm to the quest giver section...?
 
Thank you Chinajade, haha yeah I figured someone would've said something about the other stuff, glad you did though. I didn't want to mess around with it too much and accidentally screw it up even more! Took care of the other issues gonna do the main one now though. Thanks again!

No, man, I'm sorry. The bot would just sit throwing exceptions...I didn't write anything down because I was so fed up with that quest being the bane of my existence...

Next time it comes up I can re-run it using the QB...I hotfixed it to run without a QB so that it would run for now.

I have, and I'll be focusing on some better blackspots/pathing bits sooner or later in the market...been so focused on my bugs and adding quests since my time is a little more limited lately. Sorry.
 
Added tonight:

New Laosy Scouting logic...hopefully a good patch until the QB can be sorted out...let me know if it breaks.
Niuzao Temple -- The Siege Swells, Trail of Fear, In Battle's Shadow all added. Mind you I hate this dailies hub, as the spawn rate of mantid is insane, and the bot spends 90% of the time stuck in combat. I've tried to avoid all the hot spots...but its tough...
 
The Golden Lotus quest Free Spirits, once this quest is complete the character moves on to the next one (obviously) but it does not remove the buff (can't recall the name of it) that keeps you in the spirit realm. If there are no Twisted Tormenters (the mobs the remove you from the spirit realm) around this results in HB trying to pull mobs that are in a different phase. I had 2 (out of 4) characters stuck like this.

Ideally, simply remove the buff when the quest is finished.

EDIT: The buff is called Spirit Void (ID:129811)

Golden Lotus...the unleashed spirits are making botting impossible with singular as an affliction warlock...sigh
 
Hey just a general question, when the bot idles a lot, ie just stands there, and when it tries to accept a quest/hand one in but keep trying to repeat it - are these HB issues or the profiles issues?
 
The Golden Lotus quest Hard as a Rock, sees the character not interacting with the statues properly. Though, this might be a HB issue as it appears to get stuck when attempting to interact. This causes the HB unstuck movement over and over.

I'm not sure if this is happening to all my characters but I returned to see this behavior on one of them and observed it for ~20 minutes.

Hi, Mucky,

That's usually an Honorbuddy issue, and sounds like a corrupted cache problem:
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy
Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:
  • You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
  • You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
  • There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.
If you're not off and away, you'll need to post a log and what you see in the Support forum, please.

A few problems:

  1. Kick's profiles require you to select the Quest bot. This is done via a combobox in the top right of Honorbuddy's main window.

  2. You are having problems communicating with the Honorbuddy mesh server.
    Be certain port 5031 is open in your firewall for both TCP and UDP. Honorbuddy (the executable, or the whole directory) needs to be an exception to your AntiVirus.

    You are able to fetch some of the meshes, so this may also be an interim problem with your WiFi or ISP.

  3. You have no food/drink in your backpack.
    This is going to cause excessive downtime between battles. To fix:
    Honorbuddy -> Settings & Tools
    -> fill in the name of a "Food"
    -> move "Food Amount" slider to 40 or better
