Here's the log from when my bot is grinding from L49 to 55 in Winterspring (this is not the first character that has done this either). I followed the log steps the best I could, but if there's any more information that you need just let me know.

It looks like you've selected the wrong bot to run the profiles:

To run Kick's profiles, you need to select the Questbot for proper operation. Make this correction, and things should function as they were designed.

i got a little problem! i started the profile and it correctly detects, that i am tauren druid and lvl 41, so it starts in eastern plaguelands... the problem is, that some quests are allready done (also by bot), but the profile still wants to start with the opening quest of that area... can i set up, that it continues questing instead of trying to "restart" the area?

Hi, Go4e-moh,

Anytime you ask for help, you should attach a log. It saves time, since we're just going to ask for it anyway.

In the meantime, I'll hazard a guess that your cache is corrupt, and can be remedied as follows:
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy
Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:
  • You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
  • You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
  • There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.
If this doesn't get you off-and-away, please attach your full log, so we can have a look.

Hi Guys. Just went up early so i thaught about testing each daily script i need to do. Started with fishing:
Im playing a shadow priest. Cache cleaned before started doing dailys.


Edit 1:
Quest: Fishing for a Bruising. I just recognized that my shadow priest was attacking a mob on a bamboo fishing house at Sandy Shallows. Waited about a minute. The mob evaded and the priest has never stoped attacking him until i switched to another target for the bot.
Profile: [Rep] The Anglers Dailies [Brodie]

Log is attached. Will test the other scripts now and give feedback.

I will try to increase the range to check tomorrow again from 15 to 25. Should be enough?

Quest: Starting A Gift for Old Hillpaw ( Im not sure but you can check in log 4484 2013-01-05 05.09.txt)
Died at cattail lake while doing a quest from halfhill. The bot did not manage to start moving to the spot i died. I needed to go there by myself. As soon i was there the bot continued.

Thanks on point 1. There were plenty of oysters in visible range, maybe range needs to be extended?
 
Golden Lotus: canonfire: many times it will try to bomb canons that are already on fire.

Known to happen. The mobs are blacklisted, but it still pulls sometimes...your CC SHOULD ignore evading mobs however...Which are you using?
Changing the pull range is moderated by the profile itself.

I'll look into the pathing call. Pathing underwater is touchy.

If the bot starts trying to pull something underwater, the pathing issue of "could not generate path" occurs. The bot cannot path underwater. I've done a bit to try and avoid it, but it sometimes happens. Make sure the AntiDrown plugin from my SVN is installed and active to avoid drowning while AFK

There is no Quest Behavior for this quest, therefore there is no deliniation between a Cannon, and a cannon on fire. They both have the same Id.

However...it doesn't do anything yet! :)
Pre-Reqs check is live. Pre-Reqs are a go.
Quest pickup (1 mob so far) from base, then flight to Sparkrocket Outpost and pickups (2 Mobs) are live.

NO QUESTS LIVE YET

The bot was not able to turn in the quest The Perfect Plan - Quest - World of Warcraft. When I checked my bag the item was not combined. There was also another bot standing stuck at the NPC ;)

Hi, Kelcer, and thanks for all the logs!

Lines 8672 through 8678 of the "[Fly][A - Quest] LK 68-80 [Kick].xml" profile (v1936) is written correctly to collect and combine the items. The version of Kick's profile I'm looking at differs slightly than yours because the line numbers are different.

It looks like Honorbuddy knew it was supposed to use Golem Blueprint Section 1 to combine the pages. But, Honorbuddy failed to carry through the directive issued by the profile. From your log:

[11:52:05.193 D] Goal: Using item for The Perfect Plan

Thus, this isn't a profile problem, but some form of glitch or Honorbuddy bug (perhaps the toon moved slightly after the toon started the 'combine' operation).


But from your log, you do have another problem. It looks like your caches are corrupt, and that's why you are hung at the NPC. The actions below should get you going again...

If you want to help HBdev squish this bug once and for all:
  • Go to the HB/Cache directory and find the #######.cqc file(s)
  • Since the forum won't allow *.cqc to be directly uploaded, Zip the *.cqc files along with your log.
  • Upload the Zipped file to the Honorbuddy Bug Reports thread with a short description of the problem you encountered
To get you going again, here's how to repair the cache issue:
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy

The bot wasn't able the find the NPC to turn in the quest See You on the Other Side - Quest - World of Warcraft. Because the NPC is only there when you are "on the other side". Somehow the bot didn't use the item to change to the "other side".

The bot wasn't able to do A Bear of an Appetite - Quest - World of Warcraft After accepting the quest, he was trapped in a loop. He always tried to get the quest over and over again. I had to do it manually. Maybe it's because Hugh Glass is a vendor and quest giver?

For now, let's assume your other two problems can be attributed to cache corruption, also.

If you are not off-and-away after this, please attach a fresh log, and tell us what you are observing.

But for the combining problem. Wouldn't it be possible to do the use item in while loop. Which is executed as long as the combined item is missing. This would be much more robust, if the bot can't combine the item on the first try (e.g. is attacked and moves).

Kelcer is suggesting to wrap line 8678 of the "[Fly][A - Quest] LK 68-80 [Kick].xml" profile (v1936) in a While loop. We can seriously 'cheat' by converting the existing If to a While...

Randomly getting stuck everywhere around here in here. Getting caught in rocks outside of building and inside the building is the same thing. A re-mesh would be swell! Is this something you can put a crew on? is it as easy as walk around with a program running around in background and be sure to hit every little crevasse? If so im willing to help out on mesh issues any time. I always on and available. Anything to make HB run more smoothly :)

I can't understand with Lua CancelUnitBuff, Swears on "player" in profile. As I will understand I will try to process all quests which I will see with removal of aura which gives a item.
