Using your 1-90 package for the first time with my pandaren monk. I manually leveled him to level 12 this morning before work so I could choose a faction and mail him all the heirlooms I had saved (7 total, 45% xp bonus). He went from level 12 to 44 in 14 hours completely afk. Not sure how that compares to others, but I was very pleased to come home from work to see that. Thank you so much, keep up the good work!!!


... I also have to give you props on breaking down how to download profiles using svn. I tried to google how to use svn and I got a bunch of technical bs. Then I saw the end of your post with the steps on downloading tortoise and so on. It brought a smile to my face. Thanks again! -afi

As to your problem...
I'm going to guess you've got a cache corruption issue. To repair this, please follow the steps below:
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy
Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:
  • You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
  • You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
  • There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.
If you are not off-and-away after this, please attach the log, and tell us your new observations.

Hi, Atom1k,

First, you attach your log with any request for help. It saves time for you to do this, as most of the time we cannot analyze a problem without it.


I will hazard a guess that your problem is cache corruption. If this is correct, following the steps below will clear the issue:
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy

This is prolly a bot base issues but on the quest "Free At Last" in Grizzly Hills it has to use an item on the Runed Giants and kill them for 4 stones but after it kills a giant it keeps it selected and for some reason when its dead and selected the bot studders and acts like it is stuck and jumps up and down but when i deselect the dead Runed Giant the bot carrys on and moves to the next one and kills it.

Hi, Wolfman1190,

What you describe certainly doesn't sound like a profile issue. I'd make a post in the Support forum, and attach your log. Its probably an interfering plugin, or misbehaving behavior that needs to be looked at by HBdev.

Without the log, we've no chance to triage or analyze the problem.

I'd say with a 56MB log, you had a pretty good run. :D

Sorry I haven't had a chance to re-attempt the quest yet and get a smaller log, but I have researched the quest and several people on several servers have reported being unable to loot the Twilight Communique. Players have even posted on WoWhead that botters were getting stuck at the location. The quest is currently bugged and both Gather the Intelligence and the follow up quest Seeds of Discord should be temporarily removed from the profile to avoid further attention to botters.

Hi, Mechevict,

And, thanks for the info. Can you cite a source?

I've run into problems where the WoWclient won't respond when the bot tries to turn in a quest to an NPC--even if I do it manually. I've had this happen several times. A simple log out/in of the WoWclient clears it right up. Are you sure you're not in a similar situation?

From my experience, Kick usually leaves Bliz to fix the WoW bugs.

At once 2 mistakes. He didn't see NPC for activation of boss. Then I got stuck upon transition to the second boss.

Anglers -- What Lurks Below - Since I got this daily yesterday, I only got to test it the one time thru. What I need to know is: Does the whirpool move? Does the bot actually pull the mob even though it's fishing (not necessary really, so long as it attacks and loots)?

You will only have to do this once
DO NOT RUN DAILIES FROM THIS FOLDER EVER
1. Start with a clean installation of Honorbuddy
2. Install plugins into plugins folder
3. Install quest behaviors into quest behaviors folder
4. Set questing as the Bot Base on each character
5. Log into each of your characters and set up CC (Personally I lower health % for eating to 5 to avoid using expensive food)
6. Enable plugins on all of your characters and set them up if needed
7. Set up any settings you need in the settings button (I turn logging to verbose so I can see exactly what's going on)
8. Log out of Honorbuddy and delete the logs folder (simply to reduce the size doesn't really matter)

Now, we have a folder setup specifically ready to do dailies. The trick here is to take this folder and copy/paste it. You won't have to ever mess with settings again or cache. You simply delete the folder you pasted and re-copy/paste the original for a fresh dailies cycle.

Brodie everything every dailie is working great for me since i did i fresh clean 100% install of HB added all the plugins, QB, Routines and Bots that i wanted. I ran it from the clean install one time only to setup all my settings and plugins. Copied and pasted the folder and run HB everyday from a copied version. Profiles are flawless and thanks to quiksmage i am no longer skipping any quests.!! thanks guys +rep to both

I don?t understand it... is it a grudge on me?? I think i do the same everyday and have to babysit my bot every 15min.. skips quests.. stuck everything.. what do you guy do different to me??

I don't think its a grudge against you. The August Celestials quest you picked up...what quest was it? What's your reputation level with Golden Lotus?

Just a guess but does it maybe have soemthing to do with the Enlgish Client vs the German client?

...I'm assuming no, but I don't know enough about cross-language clients. My assumption (sorry Tas) is that there is a cache issue still. The only reason I've seen for quests to get skipped are lag (for pickups only) and cache (for everything else). Unless of course the quest is unsupported, but at this point those are few and far between.

Tas when you say "stuck everything" what is it getting stuck on?

The more info you give me and if you have logs of it skipping quests, that would help me help you.
