I just followed the directions to install this promising profile. Which one of the 13 questing profiles do I load please? Do I have to load and run each one?

So, after I updated to your newest version, Singular is now throwing errors? Dude, I have literally been on this thread since you began it and I can tell you one thing, your profile is not good. It is sub-par at best. Rarely does it EVER get all the quests even if they are unlocked. Rarely does it ever finish them. Rarely does it ever really do anything without constant babysitting. Your only comment back to people when they provide evidence of your profile is to either 1.)Complete install of HB (WHY?! No real damn reason why WE should have to do this. Code better perhaps? 2.) You tell us that it is a CC issue. (Hrmm, I am using Singular and it has worked up until yesterday. The ONLY changes that were made were by YOU! By process of elimination, I would suggest that this is YOUR problem, not mine, so quit pawning this shit off onto others. Also, code better!

I wanted to be nice, really I did, however I have seen the way you have answered other people on here and I for one will be deleting your profiles and waiting for someone else to either fix your code or I will continue to hand level it like I always have to do since your stuff doesnt work.
 
woohah you do realize the "new installation of HB" problem is a problem of the HB program right? not the profiles. All daily profiles have this issue. You either have to delete cache or take 1 minute to make a new HB folder and load the profiles. Not something hard to deal with for automation of valor cap and 3 coins each week =P.

I've been using these profles for a while now and they work quite well. Some quests have more problems than others, but you can see he works quite diligently to fix them. He's communicated with me quite nicely on all of my reports and fixed quite a few quests in the process.

Hi, Adababz,

Kick's Lich King profile pack was written using Checkpoints. Honorbuddy only evaluates a profile's checkpoints when Honorbuddy is started, and not when a toon dings.

To see if you are eligible to advance to the next area (according to the profile), hit Honorbuddy's "Stop" button, and when it stops, hit Honorbuddy's "Start" button. This forces Honorbuddy to re-evaluate the checkpoints and move your toon forward, if the profile thinks this can be done safely.

No, I am fully aware of deleting the cache folder. In fact, I have a script that does it nightly. I have been on these boards for years and have offered help to many users on the side. I just don't appreciate it when someone tells me it's a problem with a CC that comes with the bot and NOTHING changed outside of HIS code. Delete cache, delete HB folder and redownload for fresh install, fresh install from SVN, yet nothing worked.

Which profile is giving you these issues? Which class specifically? I use these profiles every day on a warrior, mage, and hunter (all of them exalted now, 2 characters of which from fresh 90 rep to exalted all through these dailies.) I think the biggest profile issue for me is auguest celestial on that island where it has to catch 3 ghost crane dudes. he just runs through mobs without a mount chasing after the ghosts and dying while being too slow to catch them, lol.
Also, any chance I could grab that delete cache script? sounds neat.

Hey,

I'm using your Kickazz leveling scripts (which are awesome btw) , and I was wondering what the best way to go about continuing on to the next script once an area is finished. I plan on going back to low level areas that I havent done (ressurected to 80), and I will fly through those zones and I really want it to go through them all automatically.

Hmm ok, but didn?t thebrodieman say that DISABLE the plugin would probably solve the problem? So i don?t have the plugin. Its confusing me.

Indeed he did, I was just telling you where to get it as you should have it for many of the other quests.
 
This is working great. Did tillers fine, GL fine and now on the anglers. The problem is it picks up all the quests goes to start the pirahana quest and HB stops. Starting the bot!

it says it cannot find MrFishIt.cs and i check the folder and it is in there... suggestions?

Ok so the problem was i had it in the C:\Users\bigsexy\Desktop\HB1\Default Profiles\themopdailyexp\Quest Behaviors

just moved it to the right spot and it works fine!

Kicks ive used your profiles for 85-90 = great but my hunter is 82 and in deepholm, when i load the profile is stays on loading profile and nothing else?

Hi, Depetrify,

Kick's profiles are organized the same way as the Bliz expansions. The profiles will automatically chain from profile to profile until you complete the profiles associated with that Bliz expansion (i.e., Classic, BC, Cata, LK, MoP). Once the profile pack is complete, just open pack for the next Bliz expansion, and let it chain until done.

Going back for the 'low level' zones is an awesome technique for moving along against the Loremaster achievement. All you need to do is open those 'lower level' profiles, and remove any MaxLevel constraint. Use Notepad++, and find lines that look like this:

<MaxLevel>86</MaxLevel>​

and comment out the line as follows:

<!-- <MaxLevel>86</MaxLevel> -->​

Stuck at Dark Portal Flight Point

In Hellfire Pen my character keeps trying to interact with the original flight point npc. When I stop the bot and fly away he will either try to run through the elites or fly back and continue harassing the npc. Let me know if you need any more information. Thank you.

90% of my code is written either as Objective based or with a QuestId marker within it. This is why the cache bug is double-y hurtful. If the bot reads that this quest is already completed, and translates that back to the profile, steps get skipped. I recognize that you clear it daily. What I don't acknowledge is your accusation that I'm pawning off work.

I read every log. I troubleshoot all the problems I can. If I have reason to believe the install or cache bug is at fault, it's the same thing as calling Staples tech support and the tech asking "is your computer plugged in and on." Eliminate the most common error, and build from there.

I take pride in my work. I don't half ass it. If it doesn't work for me, I don't post it. If it needs widespread testing, I note in my SVN notes (which can be read on updates, and usually on the forum when I make large updates) that it needs testing.

Not every product in the world has a 100% satisfaction rate. I apologize immensely if my profile set does not work for you. When I read logs and the only errors given are ones from Singular, I'm at a loss. I don't know enough about CCs to troubleshoot them. I don't claim to be a super coder. I'm doing this all by the seat of my pants. I learn from the wiki, submissions from other people and permissions to read and simulate other profiles.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to help you.

Vego has a dailies profile that covers most reps, and Makkli has a few as well.
