HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

Hi! On nagrand, quest=10476 (was unable to search the issue in the old length thread, the search part won't link me to the results ... So I too get my questlist cleared each time ...).
It looks like the bot doesn't recognize the ogres as holding the items, so the bot doesn't try to kill them, but is stuck (going backward/forward on the flag before the enter of the ogres cave) and just moves a bit (he gets some when they're in the aggro range).
I'm affraid I can't attach a log because I didn't know what to do at that moment.

Reporting a not working quest:

quest=12259

the player have to mount npc=27292(a drake) to kill npc=27377 (Thane Torvald Eriksson)

the bot doesnt mount the drake
the bot fly off to the npc dismount and try to kill him instead, but the mob is on a top of a building, so the player just get stucked.(funny that theres was 3 other player running stucked as me haha)

Hi, Evilbuddy,

Here's how you attach a log, and it needs to demonstrate the problem (be sure to attach the right log)...

To search Kick's "Old Posts" thread, don't use the normal 'search box' above. Instead, look in the thread's "title bar", and you should see an option to "Search Thread".

We'll need to see a log that demonstrates the problem, so Kick has a chance to analyze and repair it.

Without a log, your information is unactionable. Sorry.

the log doesnt contain anything useful to be honest,
anyway since im already done with the q, will attach my log next week, when I reach it with my new char

I get this when trying to start the questing profile for 80-82 in hyjal

Changing current profile to [Fly][N - Quest] Hyjal 80-82 [Kick]

Been using Kicks profile since lvl 1 and without any major problems, but now its completly dead

Any ideas?

Hi, Dantes999,

From your description, it sounds like your cache has become corrupt.

If you want to help HBdev squish this bug once and for all:
  • Go to the HB/Cache directory and find the #######.cqc file(s)
  • Since the forum won't allow *.cqc to be directly uploaded, Zip the *.cqc files along with your log.
  • Upload the Zipped file to a Support issue with a short description of the problem you encountered
To get you going again, here's how to repair the cache issue:
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy
Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:
  • You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
  • You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
  • There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.

If that provides no joy, you will need to attach your full log.

Eastern Plaguelands.
0/25 quests currently in log.
Load up profile and press start. Bot runs to ~<1916, -2649, 60> with quest pick up specified. Apparently bot thinks there is a NPC to pick up a quest from there.
I have deleted HB' cache and WoW's caches

I think the bot may be looking for a quest from NPC, 'Fiora.' I flew to Eastwall Tower and started the bot and, instead of heading to the aforementioned vector, the bot kept interacting with Fiora (this is the second attached log)

I have issues with QUESTBOT and "[Fly][A - Quest] LK 68-80 [Kick].xml".

I?m level 68 now. When i go to Borean Tundra , the bot flys to Howling Fjord and starts grinding. The info says: Grinding to Level 71.
But I dont want to grind, I want the bot and the profile to do quests. Is the profile just a grinding profile??

1-80 are parts of grinding, yes. this is not a 100% Questing Profile from lvl1-80.
 
but it once was a questing profile. I remember that i used Kick profiles about 1 or two years ago, and it was a real questing profile.

Is the a real questing profile for Northend out there?
 
i don' have any log, thing is that Gail Nozzywig doesn't have those Quests anymore. (on the german server theyre gone).
as i said, no quests and the bot stays there and trys to pick up quest. not cool^^

we needed a working profile so i deleted those 3 broken quests till kickz will do someting about it.(hope is OK, if not pls delete Thread)

no it was never, there was always level stepps where the profile just grind to get to the next level.

You did definitly something wrong. Yesterday i started with an 68er in LK. Questing beganns in Tundra.
Delete WoW- and Hb-Cache and try again ;)
 
Quest giver confusion, bot tries to pick up a quest that is not there (or not yet there). Just opens dialogue with quest giver, nothing there, closes it, repeats.

There are area where the profile does grind a level or two. Cant remember where they all are throughout the 1-80 process tho.

Yeah, one or two. But not 3 from 68 to 71. And, as i said, with 68 it should be questing in Tundra. No Grind. Theres definitly a mistake on his side.
And my english is still bad :\

Try delete all Caches as descripded on Page 1 or in many Posting from Chinjade.
 
Maybe a noob question but if i want to do all, which do I pick -> will it auto change?
