HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

WTF is wrong with kicks 89-90 ? starting it with 89 and then, "Error - You must be 90 to run this profile" -> continue profile, "Yes, i know min. required level is 89"

Here is last log. I've restarted wow and restarted HB loading the right profile. The native flight is checked....Again it tries to move my char to the grinding location even if i haven't done all the quest in hellfire yet (done a max of 5/6 quests till now)...
 
I've had the same problem.
What I did was I deleted it all: profiles and HB and installed it all over again, and it went well from there. Have you tried deleting the cache from both WOW and HB?

Make sure you're using a Fresh install of HB. Objective based profiles like mine might ignore "IS this quest completed" calls if it has been done at least once. The cache doesn't get cleared properly by itself, its a known issue. If it still doesn't work after that, let me know...with a log and lots of info ;)

Thanks it worked, so does this mean you have to install HB each day to make daily quests?

Why hasn't this isssue been fixed yet ;(
 
Supposedly it's close to fixed (as of 513 I think). The workaround is "delete your cache folder in HB" however I have still had some quests fail even after that. I find a full install daily leaves no margin of error, but yeah, I agree I can't wait for the fix.

Myself, I go into my HB folder, select all, the DESELECT plugins and Quest Behaviors, then delete and reinstall in the same folder. You can overwrite everything, and all your plugins and QBs added remain intact!

Glad it works for you though!

My point exactly... "The Shado Pan" is not equal to "The Shado-Pan". Keep in mind that not all of us have just run that quest and have the exact spelling corrections at hand for purposes of looking things up.

Now the next question is do you need the Horde version or the Alliance version? Since someone failed to attach a log, there's no way to figure this out.

Would be?? I'll have you know, sir, that I have plenty of Awesome. So much so, that I go around to children with little or no Awesome, and give them some of my Awesome. I don't even ask for any "Cool" "Chill" or "Totally Dope" in exchange. Although, sometimes my Awesome gets a little stale and I have to go to the market and replenish my supply...

Yeah that joke seemed funnier in my head... :)

The only quests I have in my log are the five wich were collected at Dawn's Blossom. After collecting the quests the toon goes to the flightmaster at dawn's blossom and flies back to Grookin Hill and starts targeting and killing the jinyu mobs there. The toon never seems to go back to Dawns Blossom to do the quests it collected. I tried dropping the quests and collecting them again but the toon does the same thing over and over again. Any ideas on fixing this would be appreciated.

It looks like there may be a hiccup in the FlyTo custom behavior. These things happen from time-to-time.

As a work-around, you may want to turn on the 'native flying' setting in the Honorbuddy configuration tab, and see if that will get you a little further down the road.

If that provides no joy, the next work-around is to manually comment out lines 2728 through 2731 of your copy of "[Fly][H - Quest] BC 58-70 [Kick]". Make them look like this:

This removes the 'FlyTo' that is causing the grief, and will send you to the correct area to grind until you are level 62 (ugh!). You may have to help it get there, and can AFK again once it starts grinding the area. Unfortunately, I've no way to tell you where -432.939, 4289.709, 65.62749 is on the map.

there's an issue with monks, or pandas, or both? idk. it doesn't want to quest in bc. i need to get a toon up there and let natfoth and apoc rip through it

In addition, the bot will remain permanently stuck to statues and Stuckt behind or Sale eating and drinking!

Because of this bug 2000 gold were thrown out the window.

/flex Happy to help. Don't forget to encourage me again in 5.1 when I have to do 2 faction's worth! I'll need it!
 
It has come to my attention that 5.1 comes out today. This being the case I'm going to assume the bot will be temporarily broken (as it comes with patch day) until a proper update for the new version comes. During this time I won't be doing many updates (if any) because I like to test first. But rest assured, I will be back into the swing as soon as v516+ is out!

Hey kick, i have all the exp heirlooms and guild, but it doesn't change zones at certain levels i have to restart the profile
