Uldum quest "The thrill of discovery"

After it goes to objective Northern Hieroglyphs Examined, the bot does nonstop unstucks and fails to go to the proper location for Southern Hieroglyphs Examined

Hi, all,

Over the last few weeks, Hawker and Highvoltz have been working incredibly hard on this profile pack. With their army of toons, they are really good about testing the full gambit of classes for both Horde and Alliance. Due to his hard work, this is why we've seen marked improvements in the profile pack recently.

Recently, we've had several conditions to consider:

  • The original thread has been carrying bugs for several months.
    The bugs have probably been repaired, but nobody can find the time to organize the posts into bug reports, sort them in profile-visit order, determine that the bug has indeed been repaired, and then archive the corresponding post.

    Although convenient for the Community, threads are a very bad way to manage bug reports.

    In this thread, we're attempting to impose a little more structure on the bug reporting and repairing. Hopefully, this will streamline the process of getting things addressed.

  • The 5.4 WoW drop is going to undo some of Hawker's hard work.

  • Honorbuddy has given the profile writers the ability to conveniently and natively fly.
With these considerations in mind, the team decided it was time to reboot Kick's thread.

This is by no means implying the profile pack is 'done' or 'perfect'. Indeed, we have much work left to do. The development team is working on the profiles continuously, and the profile pack is still updated several times a week. Despite the bugs we have, we are always striving to make it better--that does not mean we've had the opportunity to address your favorite (and possibly long outstanding) bug.

Welcome to the reboot of Kick's thread! As always, the thread is here to [post=1259964]provide help[/post], or take [post=1259963]problem reports[/post]. This is not a discussion thread. Please honor that intent.

Questing in Uldum, level 84. On the quest Battlezone, it just drives around in the tank and doesn't attack anything.

Exact same thing happened on my last toon here.

I must say though, that overall since the "update" to Kicks profiles I've seen a massive improvement. 70-80 was almost FULL AFK, so great work!

I am currently unable to download through the SVN also. Same error as zakkwylde

It appears that Google is having some "issues" at the moment. Try retrieving it using this URI, please:

If no joy, this happens from time-to-time, and you'll just need to check back later.

Hi,

Another one for you :)

Still in Uldum, quest "Two Tents" bot stops while trying to accept quest, and throws an error:

[InteractWith-v719(fatal)] [PROFILE ERROR] Sullah provided an unexpected Quest frame--terminating profile.  Please provide an appropriate InteractByQuestFrameDisposition attribute to instruct the behavior how to handle this situation.

The quest accept dialogue is actually up and on the screen, and I can accept it manually.

This also happened earlier on as well on a different quest (sorry I didn't take note but it should be in the second log attached).

Edit: When I manually accept the quest it triggers an ingame cinematic, and I do remember a similar thing earlier as well, just incase this is what's making that particular quest dialogue seem different to the others which it accepts fine.
 
Whats up guys, Seeing how I am an avid user of Kick's profile and LOVE IT TO DEATH i figured id help out in this matter. SO i have been running the leveling profile on my mage.. FUCKING LOVE IT... Got to 60 today, and notices a small issue.
I am just now questing in outlands. OK so after taking flight path to theramore it takes flight path back, and then again back and then back lol its stuck in a loop... this is my first attept to post a log so hope this works and helps..



having issues loading log brb ill have it up in a min

Hi, Luvs2spludge,

All these logs show is your running ProfessionBuddy (and looks like you are Herbing), and the other log only shows you were having problems logging in. The 'back and forth' issue you describe sounds like an issue with Honorbuddy. So, we'll definitely need to see the proper log to analyze the problem.

In the future...
Cut-and-paste = bad.
Zip = good. :D​

From the log, it looks like you are trying to pick up Journey To Thrallmar. Honorbuddy is also trying to update the flightpoint list from the Flightmaster, and failing because of this.

The inability to save the settings file is interfering with proper profile operation. You need to open a thread in the Support forum and work with them to get this problem cleared up. They will need your full log.

If you'd like to try a couple of things yourself before opening a Support thread, I'd try:
  • Make certain Honorbuddy and WoWclient were started with Windoze admin privileges
  • No joy? Try deleting your .../Honorbuddy/Settings/ directory
  • Still no joy? Try 'clean installing' Honorbuddy.

I think i will go the last route and just fresh install.. and go from there.. I need a clean start any way.

On a side note here is a situation where you in fact do need a log,

Select the Uldum profile, it crashes.
This does not happen with any other profile.

If I Revert the profile back it works before the latest SVN update, it works.
