HB ARCHIVES: Gatherbuddy2--DO NOT DELETE

Yeah when i got that answer I gave up. That setting does nothing when it tries to approach the node multiple times. Then if you set it down to 1 it does not get half the nodes because soon as it hit the ground it blacklists a good node and takes off. I am currently trying to build my own plugin that will try to override some of the gb2 navigation but I am having no luck =(.
 
Guys, I start up the profile in Gatherbuddy and then get an error message -- Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Any help on this?

You should see it try to hump the side of a cliff for nodes on the edge... Incredibly annoying to see it mount, fly up to the node, dismount, fall to the bottom of the cliff, repeat ad infinitum...
 
Currently running this bot and for some reason it refuses to mount up and ride a ground mount between nodes.
 
For the nodes that you notice have trouble getting just add a blackspot in profile. This will not fix all the issues but will help on the ones you constantly have problems with.
When notice bot having troubles hit stop, look in log. Copy the last node it was going after. Put in profile like this.

Over time you will have a few and hopefully make your farming less bot looking. its ok to skip a node here and there when having troubles.
 
please make it dismount over ores. im having issues where the bot needs 10minutes in smaller getting circles to get to the herb, which is VERY bottish^^

I agree with this. Not sure if way to detect how high over node you are. But a small fall will not kill ya. Just dismount, then herb.
Or even a use down button instead of flying in circles down.
Jade forest seems to be worst. Tons of herbs close to trees. And watching bot hump the tree all the way down is painful and very bot looking.

Hey, I loved this profile from level 1-500 (herbalism/mining by highvoltz). But the 500-600 won't work for me. It just says, "[Gatherbuddy2]: A new profile has been loaded. Updating waypoints", and in the bottom left corner says, "Moving to next hotspot". Nothing happens, I've tried clearing my honorbuddy Cache, updating everything, restarting HB. None of that helps, and this problem won't go away. Please help me fix it. The log for it is attached to this post. I'm currently located in Jade Forest, near the portal from Stormwind. Thanks in advanced.
 
My problem is resolved. Turns out you have to manually purchase Pandaria Flying before the bot will work at all from 500-600. Once you do that and reload everything, it'll work just fine. Thanks for the bot and software, it's great and keep up the good work.
 
Whenever I'm using this botbase my character never faces the target if being attacked. I'm not using a CC that requires real player movement. Just using the Singular version which works fine in say.. BGBuddy. Is there something I need to add/click on? Thanks in advance.
 
Is there a way to change the priorities between looting kills and gathering the next node?

Basically, if you kill a mob and there is another node withing sight, I'd like the bot to loot the kill first, then go gather. Right now, I've seen the bot gather from 4 different nodes before coming back to loot, and something it doesn't come back to loot.

These are activities that are certain to get Blizzard's attention. They aren't natural activities.

i have a feeling it's the "ninja" setting in the HB base that does this. otherwise, IDK.

there may be a way to offset GB's actions with perhaps a modification of the combatloot plugin, to loot once the CC has disengaged, and before handing back to GB
 
Thank you for the reply on the loot issue, I'll take a look at the plugin and see if that takes care of my issue.

On another note, I've searched the thread and found a couple of people who have asked about ignoring combat (tauren druids ftw), I was wondering if anyone has looked at this?

I'm kinda used to ignoring combat from Pirox. Makes gathering herbs much quicker. The way HB is designed, I don't even know where to look, HB, GB, CCs, plugins, there's so many layers that I'm not sure what to even start looking at.


After watching the bot for a while on my druid, maybe this isn't such a good idea. If it were implemented, there would have to be conditions to ignore combat.

I've noticed, sometimes the bot shifts out of flight form to gather, if you had ignore combat on at that time, you would just sit there and die. For it to work correctly, it would have to be ignore combat IF in flight form.

I have two bugs to report..
1) Bugtracker system is down.
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at bugtracker.thebuddyforum.com.

2) using HonorbuddyBETA 2.5.6840.165 -> "Node Selection" tab is blank in Herbalism & Mining nodes. No nodes to select. And I'm a maxed herb/miner. Of course was working fine in 5.1 versions of Honorbuddy.

Hey there. I have problems with Gatherbuddy2. When it will loot some stuff and Mobs are attack, the bot don't fight with the mobs. Can u help me? ( Sry for bad english >.<)
 
Please add the ability to "Dismount after X seconds" before "Blacklisting after X seconds" So that the bot wont fly around in jerky circles for many seconds or indefinately when a node is butted up against a tree or rock or something! PLEASE!
 
When I click the status report button or when I stop the bot, I always get the following

[Gatherbuddy2]: Gatherbuddy has been running for xxh xxm xxs. Collected a total of 0 nodes.

Always 0 nodes, regardless how much ore and herbs I have mined.

How do I fix this?
