HB ARCHIVES: FishingBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

This bot is amazing, I have been using it for a while now for pool fishing and it's perfect.

Today I am trying it in Mixed Mode with AutoAngler/BGbuddy bots and I have an issue. When it enters a BG it still has the fishing pole equipped and never changes it out for the weapons. I think this is because BGBuddy bot takes over once a BG queue pops up.

Is there any way to get it to equip weapens instead of fishing pole when switching to BGBuddy in Mixed Mode?

rename the AutoAngler2 folder to AutoAngler

The instructions on how to get AA are on front page. If you're trying to do a 'SVN Commit' then you can't, you'll need to do a 'SVN Update' instead.

This doesn't look a AutoANgler issue. Some CCs might not support detecting specs changes.

Thanks. You're right about BGBuddy bot taking over. I have the code to switch to weapons while in a BG in place, just need some changes to be made to Mixed Mode bot for it to work

I am new to HB, so I apologize if this is the wrong spot...

I am trying to create a profile for this bot to fish Lavascale Catfish, basically what I want it to do is sit at lava pool and fish until the bags are full, then mount up and fly to an NPC and mailbox. I am having issues with the navigation portion, the wiki hasn't helped much either. Is there a way to tell the bot to goto the mailbox and NPC once my bags are full? I have tried <Hotspots> but it wigs out with them, also the bot wont sit stationary at lava pools (because of a lack in fishing pools) nor will it fly if I have pooling disabled.
 
Seems like a awesome bot! +1 but one qeustion ( cant find anything in the thread or reply's) Does this auto lvl fishing from 1-525? auto train @ trainer?

AutoAngler doesn't do that but I have a 1-525 fishing profile for PB that levels in Dalaran by the fountain and it's included with PB
 
Would it be possible to make so that without loading a profile, if you press "Start" it just stands where ever you are and just throws the fishing bauble, then loot it? Without having a profile, just plain fishing you know?

Btw your dalaran fishing profile isn't working, it moves to fountain, then does nothing "/

Yes, in settings set 'Pool Fishing' to false. I will need to see a log for the Dalaran fishing profile but post it in the PB thread. I just tested it a few days ago and it was working fine for me.
 
you dont need a profile just use Mrfishit from nessox the 105 version u dont even need a profile its working fine and never gets stuck you only need to train youre self..

There's no reason to use another bot, just follow the instruction that highvoltz gave ( Set Pool Fishing to false in settings )

Yeah that's an issue. But there is also another one.

I use AutoAngler with Zuabros' Mr. Pinchy Profile which works great. If I switch to Mixed Mode and set the Second Bot to BGBuddy, AutoAngler will stop working.

Log:

Awesome bot, works really well. One thing though. Is it possible to disable/enable lure in bot settings? Can't seem to find anything about it.

Cuz I got the fishing hat(Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat - Item - World of Warcraft) and I saw it use it the first time I started the bot but now when I fish pools it never uses it.

Pools can be fished with skill 1 and you won't catch junk there, lures are only used when fishing outside the pool.
 
I'm unsure why, but my shaman simply will not fish. I've used this before with other toons and it worked flawlessly.
My shaman will sit there doing nothing. No messages or errors in honorbuddy. It simply sits there. I changed cc's between singular and shamwow, I changed specs from enhancement to elemental to see if dual wielding may have been the problem, I turned fishing from pools on and off (when fishing from pools is on it will fly to the pools then do nothing), reinstalled both honorbuddy and autoangler2. Fishing worked flawlessly on my druid. So why isn't it working on my shaman? Profession buddy leveled it to 525 on my shaman no problem. Log attached

I find that when i manually cast my mount it dismounts and says
