HB ARCHIVES: FishingBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

Alright watched the bot for a couple minutes and noticed that it wasnt fishing at all, fresh install of everything the other day including the profiles. Hopefully you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

i simply can't make it work, i stand in dala (at the fountain)
what i do;
start hb, run the bot as "ProfessionBuddy"
then i go into botconfig. and then up in the corner i pick Autoangler..
i press start, and according to the logs.. it's because of my plugins (so i've disabled them and it still says my plugins makes it crash) :S

You need to select Autoangler2 as Mainbot instead of Professionbuddy for normal fishing.

If you want to fish 1-525 you only need PB and the fitting profile.

using mr.fishit atm while i work it out with HB xD..
1-525 is "the goal" so i can start farming some cash again... (getting below 250k and i don't like it xD )

I do not agree, SVN checkout on a folder and done. Open HB and go, check the forum for other profiles and plugins if necessary

All that SVN shit does is popup adds and try to install crap programs I don't want.

im using [Fishing - A] Tol Barad Peninsula - Fathom Eel + DERBIS (Ground Mount) Alliance Base Big Path
i would like to be able to add a lure or use the hat lure, i have both and it doesnt use either atm
also is there a way to make it not pick up the grey junk?

if you have poolfishing enabled (and i bet you have, cause you're using a profile to fly around) then the bot won't use a lure.

Why would you need to use (waste!) a lure when fishing from pools? Any pool in the game can be successfully fished with a skill greater than zero.

there was a small "fix" few pages before (don't know if highvoltz uses it in AA now)

Either use LootFilter (wow addon) or Mr. Itemremover (plugin for honorbuddy that will remove all the items of your choice after x minutes, then repeat the process)

is "pool fishing" enabled or not? this is the flag for the bot to use lure or not!

The only time the bot misses pools was in no fly zones like Tol Barad, but Etrius posted a fix on page 20 (which works great) for it.
So there is rly no need to use lures if u fish from pools.

I guess u should still use lure if u plan to fish stationary.

Flying way in the air is extremely obvious botting. Don't know what causes it, but it flys straight up in the air doing weird spinny things, and then when it reaches the top of the world, flys back down to fish. View attachment 5-3-2012_11_00 PM 624 Log.txt

Pool fishing in no-fly zones should now work. Thanks to Etrius for discovering the bug

This is likely caused by a CC or plugins. if you are using only default plugins then it is most likely the CC.

This looks like a profile issue. The hotspots need fixing.
