HB ARCHIVES: DungeonBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

Not sure but they really are broken... of the 8 available 4 are non-afkable (so random heroics = monitor your bots!)

the only REAL issue ive ran into is Grimrail Depot, where your tank will just start running into walls for a long period of time because it doesnt understand the navigation of the train...

the other smaller issues are the everblooms / shadowmoon burial grounds / auchindoun (Forgive misspellings if there are any)
all 3 of these instances just have a bug at the END of the instance, where the tank (leader) will enter the portals, but the follow bots will just sit outside of them. If they fixed this (forced the dps / healer to run thru portals) you'd have a 7/8 working bot.

oh and the auchindoun or w/e problem is related to the teleport pads at the end. The follow bots wont take the first 2 portals, resulting in manual over-ride needed (so again just fix the followbots and force em to follow, and its fixed)

SO in reality its really just that and grimrail to look into. I run a team of 5 atm and they are doing just fine in skyreach, slag mines, iron docks, and UBRS. The bots run these 4 flawlessly.
 
and i thought it would just be me... also did a clean install and stuff... but as Dmpk said, those are huge problems right now :(

as for now, dungeon farming in wod quite unpossible in a sufficient gph

well I wouldnt go this far... Its just not afkable.

Im still making 35k a group per day when im able to monitor them, so since I do alot of my work from home... I am able to monitor them alot. But yeah, if your plan was to start em, go to work and come back, you'd be lucky if they farmed a full hour.

What I can't get over is that the dev's are not responding =/. Imo this bot makes them more money than any other bot, considering to use it to its fullest potential you need 5x bot =/. If I were part of the dev team this would be one of the bots I focus on as a result. Maybe I am wrong though and the popularity isnt high enough... But I think people are as smart as me... The only way you can be detected using a 5 man dungeon buddy team is if the program is detected or if you play to for too many hours in a single day and get flagged. Its the only 100% unreportable bot ive seen, and makes RAW gold... so no need for auction house bull crap, etc... I actually planned on making 15x more accnts and buying 5x more bots... but if we cant even get a response I am figuring it might be better to find something else... I dont know if I'll be able to find anything as secure and wonderful though... Wish they'd just get this working again.

unfortunately probably true... Im actually looking into taking one of those online courses for C# =P, not that it will happen soon or anything but seriously, this doesn't seem all that hard =/. Just want some working stuff!
 
I am with you guys...
Stuck with the heroic instances like Grimrail Depot which is aweful!

Until we get support or some coder who can fix this (*fingers crossed*!)
I thought about a workaround - like a plugin which recognize if the bot is not moving for 2minutes - it leaves the group.
Honestly not the best solution, but it works in some way.. as it will restart the group and dungeoning....

Anybody knows such plugin? Or can code?
 
ok guys,
so I wrote this plugin here which should help,
for your group leader turn it on, after 90 seconds of no movement he will leave the group,
which leads that the rest of the group also leaves the dungeon.
which leads that the complete dungeon farm restarts.
it should work, i am currently testing.

see it as a workaround as long as the team (hopefully) fixes the issues the right way.

It is unfortunate, two years of expansion and not fix the dungeons !! It began and ended unrepaired. And it should be the same way in this new expansion!
 
These. Friggin. Scripts. Are. Sooooo. Long. And. Complicated... lol.

Anyways after about 9 hours of some self taught basic scripting (and c# referencing), i've come to the conclusion these scripts are long as hell, and do crazy ass stuff. Having said that, I also am possibly going to have a fix for 3/4 problems i listed by tonight, i.e the portal zoning / teleport pad problems we've been having. Stay tuned.

If you have not noticed, there was a major content update patch for WoW, numbered 7.03, maybe its because of it?

Im glad you have realized that all the dungeon scripts are very sophisticated, so updating them is not a couple of minutes work.

Keep in mind, the Core Devs, who are responsible for Dungeonbuddy, are after some other serious projects like LegionBuddy too.

I am pretty sure, every raider here would like to see LegionBuddy released before 30.08, instead of getting the WoD dungeons updated (for example).

it is... but there is a simple fix for these 3 dungeons i've mentioned, 2 lines to force the bot to hit w and or right click if it stands still for too long, and then it enters the portal and the problem is solved...

I'm not discounting that you guys have a busy job to do, and you can't be updating these things right now, I was simply making a statement that for the 3 dungeons I mentioned that are having MINIMAL problems with portals, I might be able to fix it. I am going to write it in / test it over the next couple hours and if it works i'll offer the fix to everyone who wants to do this grind, because again, people WANT this 5 man dungeon team for WoD dungeons. Not everyone is going to upgrade their accounts to Legion... Im not looking to drop 400$ to upgrade all my bot accounts to legion when Im making PLENTY of gold with WoD =/. Thats my personal opinion.

true words. i think most of the farmers are not going to upgrade to legion at the first months...
 
It works and then it doesnt work... lol. Going to do more testing / tweaking, bare with me fellas this is all very new to me.
 
Lets hope we get a perfect Dbuddy just like the one in pandaria, in pandaria it worked perfect for raids and dungeons with some minor errors. In WOD its a complete disaster, never had the fun of running it much, failed at most content dungeons and raids.

Please Dbuddy programmers put more effort on raids and dungeons in Legion. We want the best you can come up with. and we are ready to pay for that :)
