Solution for "A referral was returned from the server." error on Vista/Win 7
Right click on ARelog.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility tab -> Enable "Run this program as an administrator" -> Ok
Now run ARelog.exe it will work without changing UAC settings
i have an idea for you raphus
can you add in "arelog" something like this
we can customize for each account in arelog this " start bot ---> run for 6-8 hours ( rnd time he logs out in the 2 hours like 33 minutes ) pause 12 minutes to 45 minutes ( same here rnd time he choose between this time ) --> start again and so on but all customize by ourself
Hey,
i have a problem to run ARelog on every notebook that uses Nvidia Optimus (see: Nvidia Optimus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ).
I guess a lot of user-errors belong to this, because notebooks with newer graphic cards use this shit.
Before some people give me kind advices:
Yes, i know how to start it.
Yes, i know how to use it.
Yes, i started it with admin rights.
Yes, i disabled UAC.
Yes, its working for me on all other notebooks / computers that dont use this technology.
The problem is when wow.exe uses the nVidia graphic card instead of the integrated one.. You just have to go to nVidia control panel and set wow.com to use only the integrated graphics. I know it's not a good solution, but at least we've managed to isolate the problem.
Same error with Highvolt's too, and same solution.
I'm now trying a strange solution: I've just created a copy of my WoW folder and renamed the wow.exe so I can have different profiles in the nVidia Optimus setup. Now I've got a wow-auto which uses integrated graphics and wow-play which uses the nVidia one. I has some issues with the launcher but atm it's the only solution I've thought of so far :-/
