Its still the same. Re-installed the entire thing.

Opens the ARelog.exe (in taskmanager, not actual window/GUI) for a few seconds and then closes again.

In my case, Win7 64 bit, fail again, crash as soon as i start it.

Downloded the latest version. Checked the frameworks with above uploaded program. Still the same, i.e when launching the arelog.exe nothing happens, no window, no error, nothing.

That's a .Net framework version error, can you run this tool?
Go over all the different framework versions

Finally a dev reply, for me Arelog worked before last update, then it started to close right when i start it, had no problems before, tested a fresh install from the zip.

Same issue here, launching ARelog.exe as admin, win7 64bits, nothing hapening,
I removed ARelog folder, install fresh, same, nothing happen.

Right click to ARelog.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> tick Run this program as an administrator -> Apply


also for those who updated your old installation,delete it and make a fresh one from scratch

Tony, i did all that, when i open Arelog it says program not responding blah blah. I fixed properties, have all the up to date software and i got fresh arelog folder.

Tried this, 1.0.36.28 still appears to be crashing when launched - same as 1.0.32.25

Mine worked before the last update (Win 7 64bit), I have deleted and performed a fresh install.

I have set it to run as ADMINISTRATOR and changed the environment from Win 7, to Win XP, to Vista and back - and nothing............

Its bugged.

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the DB installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Just ran it, tested each .NET Framewrok version, "Product verification succeeded!" for each of them. Ofc i tried running arelog as Administrator, also tried some compatibility modes... all with one single outcome: Instant Crash
Just to mention, it worked perfectly untill 5.2 patch updates.. hope u find the glitch soon

at least u guys have crash, after i click arelog.exe its nothing gonna happen, windows cursor changing into spining circle like he would like to start a program but after few second he gets back to the normal.
