Any chance to see this working sooner than HB? Even without HB its quite usefull for logging and positioning WoWs.

This is my biggest question. Since wow likes to error and Dc, this was a godsend for keeping the bots logged in and farming

Any updates for this addon getting some updated love?

Just have one question with demon buddy and plugins that other are having problems with, a lot of people can't get there plugins to load and the reason I see why is that this program runs the game starts the bot and then logs in. demon buddy only loads the plugins based off of profile (character your logged in on), so that lead me to my question is there any way this could load Diablo, login, and then start demon buddy, that way any watch dog program would work perfect. thanks for any help in this matter. futher more could there be a delay before the bot starts allowing the bot the load the plugins (such as giles which can take up to 5sec to load) before the bot starts. this would insure all plugins are loaded before the bot begins.

This application is mostly written by Apoc and been modified and enhanced by myself.

pretty sure apoc is dedicating his time to finishing the bot first.... why would you need a relogger without a working bot?

did you right click it, select properties, go to the compatibility tab, select always start as admin.

After a fresh w7 install i lost my hope to get this work and now.. It works perfect!!

(for all those with referall error.. Go properties and run with administrator.. (not right click and admin))

i was having the referal error fixed itself after running as administrator

first task:

Botname - bgbuddy
runtime - 180

second task:

Botname - (leave empty or type idle)
runtime - 30



right-click to arelog.exe get in properties. In compability tab tick run as administrator. Click apply then ok.

starting as admin may not be enough. As mentioned in 2nd post of this thread, right click to arelog.exe -> properties -> compabilitity -> tick run as administrator -> apply -> ok.

Follow that and let me know the result

right click the arelog.exe, click properties, select always start as admin.

Note: It is not the same as right clicking it and start as admin!

edit: Running it as admin via right-click didn't work, but enabling admin in properities did

for windows 7 users after taking the latest updates.

Right click on the arelog.exe, go to the compatability tab, check the box that says, "run this program in compatability mode for" and select windows xp service pack 3, then same tab, where it says privilage level, select administrator.

This should do it for you.

even easier:

Right click-properties-compatability tab-always run as admin.

No need for win xp or anything.

But if people would actually read this thread, no one would ask this question, because its answered already a hundred times...

okay guy's this is what i've done too resolve the mysterious "a referral was returned on this server" error.

1. Right click arelog
2. Click properties
3. Navigate too the 'compatability' tab
4. Under the 'compatability' heading check the tix box 'run this program in compatability mode for..' and in the drop down menu select 'windows xp (service pack 3)'
5. Under the 'privilege level' heading check the tick box 'run this program as an administrator'
6. Press 'apply'
7. Run & profit..

Let me know if this solves the issue you're all having, i'm running windows 7 64bit.

your wow is in 64bit or dx11 when you start it, this is why.

for the people that still get the error even when they run it as admin. I learned that going into properties and checking run as admin was completely different then just right clicking run as admin. So try that before you say running as admin doesn't work.

plain rightclick -> "run as admin" does *n*o*t* work!

me and my friends seem to get an error when starting the program. I have a quick fix, if you cant open it.

Right click -> properties -> compatibility -> run as [microsoft windows xp service pack 2] - run as administrator(checked) -> now start the program and it should work !

yes, there is even a guide in the guide section. It's easy to set up and maintain.
