Have people changed their botting times cus of bans?

d3 is an absolute failure in terms of content, ie loot and things to do. however, it's gameplay is great, but my favorite part of d2 was the loot, runs, etc. These things have been dumbed down or removed in d3.
 
This is my first diablo game and my first bot, so I made the silly mistake of assuming 1 bot would be enough, when I see people who average 3+ bots I kick myself. But hindsight... I am in agreeance, run till banned then not looking back. Right now the goal is to get through act 2 inferno, and I have a build for my dh that didnt have any issues on act 1 but to get any progress in act 2 it looks like each item will cost me 10s of millions. And thats no fun.
 
still running 24/7 since 3 weeks straight, made so much gold i can buy 20 more d3 copies from it. so, no, i wont change my 24/7 behaviour.
 
Yes I did for 2 days, then I came to my senses now I bot harder then ever 25/7.
 
No. Nothing wrong with botting 24\7 for now. Do it to your hearts content.

I'd say they're still around. With my Barb i run from pack to pack in A3 Inferno killing 45-55 packs per hour. Clearing all packs from start to end in about 1h40 minutes. It's tons of loot and tons of fun, but it needs great gear in order to be able to do it.

Gear near impossible to get without bot

I got a lot of friend they play around 2hours per day, they simply cant buy anything, they gonna stop soon, this game die
 
24/7 Since 7th of june, 4 accounts no ban yet, when i get my license tripled il buy 3 more :)

Nah, people are just pidgeonholing themselves in to certain types of gear setups and everyone wants the gear with 40allres + 100 str and 100 vit when they could be going 260 str 40 allres on the same item and get high vit on the next.. I tend to help people out with builds and gear quite often, helping them pick the right items and such, and if you avoid getting pidgeonholed in to certain purchases there's a lot of good and incredibly cheap shit to buy. Like bracers with 79 dex / vit + allres can go for 5k but bracers with 80+ starts at 600k. Or grabbing strength and armor bonuses instead of only allres or grabbing life % and sockets instead of pure vitality or grabbing a combination of 300 armor and 50 allres instead of aiming for the 80 allres pieces. Or grabbing 600 DPS weapons with huge life on hit and huge crit bonus + socket instead of grabbing 2x 900 DPS weapons for instance.

I'm not saying I don't agree though, gear with the right stats is ridicilously expensive and hard to come by. But you can RAPE act 1 on a 1 million budget and with a 3m or 5m budget you can do the exact same thing with a2. For a3 you probably need up to 25-35m but the biggest problem is not the availability of gear it's people buying the wrong stats. Like WD / Monk may be subpar characters in general but on a 5m budget you can roll over all of act 3 with them with no problems what so ever.

I fail to see how admitting that the end-game is lacking right now, is the same as admitting they failed on the entire game. Anyone got a source for that last one?

Dude.. The link itself had a source at the bottom of the article. Also what they admit is huge... They basically say the game has no replay value.

(1 star rating has more votes than all other star ratings combined)

Metacritic.com, with 84 CRITIC reviews @ 88% rating
Metacritic.com, with ~6000 user reviews @ 39% rating
(again, Negative user ratings are WAY more than Positive/Neutral combined)


So, either offer a fair comparison, or stop talking shit; its painful to listen to you embarrass yourself in a public forum. Oh yeah, BTW, you should not believe everything you read in newspapers or from other companies with mixed interests.

Lol @ using "user" reviews though. People aren't reviewing the game subjectively. They are reviewing it as a one star because it's not the best thing ever.

It would be impossible in reality to rate the game 1 star.

1 star games are like:
  • ET on the atari
  • Big Rigs over the road racing: you can go unlimited mph backwards, no collision detection
  • Custer's Revenge: you walk across the screen to rape a native american woman tied to a cactus.

Probably a 3.5 as it can get very monotonous once played through.
