Has anyone gotten around a flagged PC or have info on how they flag you?

My buddy has one pc with bots running and they are all fine. The other pc he made two accounts and didn't do a thing on them (no gold selling, HB not even installed), but they were banned within 24 hours. I suspect that something other than IP is being referenced to automatically shut down the account. I know there are plenty of people that still don't believe this even happens, but this is the second friend that has collected a lot of evidence to support the theory. He said he tried starting up again after spoofing cpu id and mac address, but still got banned within hours.

Anyone have experience getting around this or have ideas on how to do so? Will VMware avoid whatever detection is going on?

It might be that the first flag came when there were being created. It is just "maybe" same browser, same cookies, same ip and multiple creation of accs at the shortest time. One way to test this is to create ONLY 1 acc, and let it run.

Possibly, but the first buddy this happened to he tried absolutely everything. He spoke with a former GM about possible methods of detection and also HB team to get advice and always got auto bans shortly after. Also I kinda doubt this is a method of detection because I've created multiple accounts very quickly RAF'd, same browser, same names, and using the gmail trick so it's kinda obvious. My honest guess is that it accesses somehow a hardware profile that Windows gives your pc to tell whether or not the pc is installed on more than one machine. It allows you to slowly swap out parts of the pc without it complaining that it's a different pc with the same serial. It would make sense because my friend tried things like a new ethernet card, but still was flagged right away. I hope a different OS serial or install would fix this because that was the only thing he couldn't remember whether or not he installed the same key when reformatting multiple times. Also to anyone who is still not convinced this is a thing he tried everything to avoid the bans, and it happened enough times with enough similarities that it would be highly unlikely they were caused by the usual things like reports etc.

Bans within 2 days is for surely not report based bans. I guess it is goldseller hardbotter bans. Did your friend try to change the HDD (new device)?
And for the sake of experiment try to lvl ONLY 1 acc. The thing is that the detection parts does not always act the same way. You may get lucky with multiple regs sometimes.
I guess the detection method works at random times.

The most recent one was two accounts that basically did nothing no gold selling or botting. It's not IP based because his other pc is fine running bots. He did have a mass ban on that pc before these 2 accounts, so that is likely when the flag was placed. I will recommend a new hdd.

May also be multiple accs acquired via same payment method in a short period of time. I think "short perod of time" also plays a role to flag an acc.

Yes I think these are all possibilities, but I've done this without issue many times in the past. Also these were simply cd keys entered into new accounts with different info/addresses.
