Has anyone come across other botters using the same profile? LOL

So I was using the questing profile and got stuck, Thankfully I use the LogMeOut plugin which sends an alarm trigger through my speakers..so I go check whats going on..
toon was running back and fourth the same path in an endless loop... and to my surprise I see a hunter (same lvl) running back and fourth the same path. He got stuck too! it was too funny, have you had any similar encounters? moments like this are priceless lol
 
Happens often on public profiles, some botters even report each other but there's so many people using kicks that they're just replaced with another.
 
ye , i've had other botters whisper me and tell me they will report me if i don't leave the area
 
I remember when i first started botting (with pirox) and there wasn't such things as questing for it so it was basic grinding mobs, i kept seeing the same guy grinding mobs on the same profiles each time i switched, at the time i thought botters were mostly chinese for gold farms and was quite amazed i had infiltrated their botting routines! (no idea where i got that logic from considering i was botting and i'm not chinese :P)

Getting to azshara level which was 50+ at the time i noticed him again but this time trying to kill me, so i stopped the bot and we had a little war, it went on for awhile maybe an hour or two of ganking each other until both of us jsut gave up. I logged over and told him (in code) you know you're here for the same as me, how about we call it a truce and get on with our day, we had a little chat and went on our way, i saw him again in outlands but never again after that.

Plenty times when i used to gather hard i used to see my bot synced while flying with others so id just switch profiles and leave them to it, it wasn't worth the report just to compete with them for herbs or ores.
 
Yeah with Kicks Profile I've run across a few doing exactly the same quest. :)
 
I have, heck i've even ran into people using my profiles. Always ends up with being friends and working togheter. As a botter i'd never report another botter. I try to help them out instead. For example sometimes i catch people being stuck and i simply grip them using my DK and then they'd just continue :). Other botters are family.. so to speak! :)

Yepp, questing I very often either run just ahead or just behind one or two other botters :)

It would be hilarious if it werent so obvious what we are doing... Thats why I almost never run HB totally unatended. And if I come across any botters that are stuck I usually send them a whisper informing them of the fact that they are stuck and they should correct it :)

In situations like this, I always log an alt (of opposite faction) and camp them until they rage quit. The rage chat in general is absolutely hilarious.
 
I had a guy farming the same area as me. I Just offered to buy his ore and farmed some where else lol.
 
not so much of seeing someone using the same qrofile but on timeless i tend to see warriors with completely broke gear still trying to take down elites. you cant box an elite. O_o

As a Bloodspeced DK you can... Will take a while, but you will make it in the end :)
 
Reporting other botters isnt tolerated though, we've had a few people banned from here stating openly that they do that.
